Catfish King Restaurant - Seafood restaurant in Monroe - 305 Sterlington Rd, USA

My 1st time going here was my last time only thing that was hot and fresh on my plate was my shirmp fish was old & cold fries was to I spent 35 dollars on that food which I feel was high and for it not to be fresh really made me mad it's nothing but kids working in there just standing around doing nothing someone should have been cleaning these nasty windows or something but instead they we're just standing around doing nothing waited for about 15 min for my food to come out and it was cold my plate wasn't even hot at all was so cold couldn't even smell the food I tried to call the corporate number but it's always busy when I call I called the number all day ....... there should be people working in there that wants to work if I'm paying that much for food I expect it to be fresh and hot don't eat here!!!!! Full of kids working 🤬🤬

The food was worth the wait! Hot and fresh. The seafood was fresh with no fishy smell, reasonable prices . Really enjoyed the meal. The seafood platter was roughly $15 with shrimps, oysters, stuffed crab, fish strips, fries, coleslaw, ans ranch beans. My mini fish dish was $4.49 with 3 fish strips, fries, and hush puppies. Excellent eating. Friendly staff also. Great job Catfish King in Monroe, La. located on Sterlington Rd.

I was very disappointed to be spending $27 on 2 fish lunch plates and 2 sweet tea's for my food to be old. I went through the drive through at 12:30 on a Friday and my fish, hush puppies and fries are cold like they were cooked an hour before. The cole slaw had alot of water and no dressing.

Took a friend he left hungry only got two small pieces of fish, lunch special needs to have at least three or four fish decent size. Chicken tenders lunch special some of the best I ever ate.

Ordered cajun the whole plate was plain. Fish was hard like it was refried. Beans were bland. This use to be my favorite place to eat in monroe. I really think the people who took over expect the name of the place to carry them but it was the people's great service that bought people back. To charge someone a great fee and give them what you want to is an insult. When I think of it I don't think the servers would have eaten it like that. To drive way back to the Southside with a great disappointment. Yall gotta get better been that way since you took over though inside and out. Everybody deserves great service and food not just your friends and family.

I used to love this place. The past two times we went it has been bad but today was AWFUL. The food was so bad we couldn’t eat it. I called the manager and she said they changed fish. They have changed beans also. It was so bad my teenage boys wouldn’t eat it. Spending $42 on lunch you can’t eat is ridiculous.

It’s been a while since I’ve eaten at Catfish King but yesterday convinced me that I’ll be back!!! Met some friends and we were able to have a nice conversation over delicious fish, fries, hushpuppies, beans, and salad! Fish was well-cleaned to remove that “fishy” taste, baked potato was perfect, and service was good. I highly recommend!!

Went to the drive through. The lady was very nice and helpful. The wait on my Seafood platter was not long and quite good. They put plenty of tartar and cocktail sauce in with my order. Thank you. 😋😋😋😋😋
