This was our first time visiting, and we got lucky finding this place. We arrived at about 5:00 pm, with no wait for a table. We had the Charbroiled oysters, stuffed Mahi, Blackened Tuna burger, and Crab Cake BLT. Every bit of it was delicious. Also ordered a couple of very tasty Old-Fashions to drink. The Painkiller drink was also very good. The service was attentive and friendly. Plenty of free parking was available during our visit.
I was back in November and early December of 2023 and they are still crushing... grilled oysters are to die for and I always highly recommend their specials. I went here to eat this past month. I had the charred oysters and their special witch head pork belly on top of it. It was absolutely phenomenal.
So we stumbled upon this gem by accident. It is actually located in the center of Morehead waterfront, but we never knew it. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming. We were greeted promptly and with a smiling face. We had the pleasure of dining at the bar, with Megan as our host. She was friendly and helpful and her cocktails are amazing! The food that we ordered was outstanding! It had a quality of freshness to it and the taste was all we hoped for. I believe Catch 109 will be a regular spot for us from now on!
I went here on National Margarita Day hoping to enjoy a dinner and a margarita. This place fell short on a levels. When we first arrived we ordered our margaritas. Regular, peach and pineapple. I’m not sure what mix or tequila they use but it was way way way too sweet and not nearly enough tequila. So I ordered a shot of the tequila to add to mine and it was like a pre mixed shot and they charged me the the full price of shot! Then I ordered appetizers… truffle steak fries where there wasn’t a hint of truffle anywhere on the fries which was very disappointing! Also ordered the candied bacon and each bite and piece was so inconsistent in flavor than the last. We ordered the lollipop chicken which had a good flavor. The salmon with rice was a little too sweet but was still good. The ribeye was very tender but needed salt. The shrimp tacos had a good taste. The only thing I can say was really good was the Cesar salad dressing! My overall first impression/experience wasn’t anything special. I don’t think I’d personally return.
Nice upscale seafood joint. The tempura shrimp w/ Siracha and pecans is a weird combo that I never knew I would like. The catch of the day tacos and crab cakes were also very delicious. Service was great and server was polite.
I do not say this lightly when I say this is one of the absolute best meals I have ever had. The short rib and grits were unbelievable and our waitress Stacy was incredible especially with our large group. We'll be coming back for sure (probably tomorrow 😂). The great live music was an extra bonus!
Food was amazing but the service was very bad. Had a heavyset blonde waitress who literally rarely came to our party of 6. Really expected better from Kostas. Will maybe try the bar if I decide to go again.
Our party of 4 went to Catch 109 on Thursday evening in mid August around 5:15 pm for dinner. We didn’t wait for a table and the atmosphere was excellent: refined, yet subtle and rustic. The decor is tasteful and nautical, the waitstaff was excellent. We dined in the dining area, not the bar. There was one family with small children eating as well, and their kids were impeccably behaved. The mood was phenomenal—not overly fancy but definitely not a normal bar and grill either. Cocktail dresses would be apropos but sun dresses and dainty flip-flops are too. The food was amazing!! We had the honey pecan shrimp, crab cakes, and swordfish. All 3 were delectable! The crab cakes were huge; and the lemon-hinted wilted greens and rice with a flavorful aioli which accompanied them were a delightful addition! It was an excellent meal and we will definitely be back!! I highly recommend Catch 109!
Hands down, one of the best evenings weâve had in years â spectacular cocktails, amazing menu options and stellar service. We were promptly seated on a recent Friday night and greeted by our server who immediately offered us a selection of the ni
We came out for my husbands birthday, forgot to mention that at the restaurant. ð¤¦ââï¸ The food and overall experience was great. We got to sit on the rooftop looking towards the water, beautiful view. My husband ordered seafood pasta, he said

I didnât get to buy anything this time but they had so many good looking things. I definitely want to go back at some point. Their mugs were only $6.
Wow, what else can I say. The food is center stage here. The chef hits every single taste bud on every plate. We had the charcuterie board, pot stickers, rosemary beef (amazing) bread service and black bean with chicken added. My wife and I sampled s
I like a standard breakfast and for me, I went with the special All American breakfast platter with two pancakes eggs to my liking, I did scrambled eggs, home fries, sausage (or bacon or ham), and their famous grits. The pancakes were light and fluff
15SEPT.2023 I reserved a table here for me and my mate and we arrived earlier than our time. We were seated right away. This is a cute restaurant inside of white clapboard house. The wait staff were very personable and knowledgeable on giving recomm
This is an excellent dive center and charter. The captain, crew and staff were outstanding and the dives sites were amazing. We dove for five days in July 2023, and were able to visit both the wrecks of the Caribsea and the U-352 among other sites. S
This place is definitely a no frills type of joint however, the staff is outstanding and the food is delicious and ridiculously well priced! I donât know how this is our first visit here in as long as Iâve been coming to Atlantic beach. This will
Cool little spot with quite a few places to work. WiFi is fast and staff is nice. I ordered a cup of joe with steamed milk. Too much milk vs coffee. Facility feels like a mom and pop. I would definitely come here again. Feels the way coffee shops are
