Came here believing that the adobe would be open for touring. It was not on a Sunday afternoon. Bathrooms were open and clean.
Grounds were nice and shady on a hot summer day.
A little historic piece of Glendale hidden in this community park though not much to see greenery wise there is plenty of history to be seen in the old home in the back and the bell and tree pictured inside.
Secret historical site open to all, to walk, meditate, or sun bathe. Clean restrooms and street parking. Professional photos and private parties should make reservation. Otherwise, free to explore on your own.
So much history all over this place ..it should still belong to the Verdugo family. The property needs a Verdugo to care for it.
A place invited you to enjoy the nature
Nobody there. We did our own tour
What a beautiful park! I almost wish not to share it with you as I fear it will become overrun with beauty seekers. We went here for a celebration of life for a dearly departed friend. It was the perfect setting for such an event.
The park is kept spotless from the trail to the restroom. I cannot wait for another day that I might have time to explore more!
We take part in the Passport2History program and this is one of the museums. Unlike the others, this is open by reservation only. It wasn't too difficult though, you just call and the woman who runs it sets up an appointment. She didn't sound too happy that it was only my toddler and I, but she was able to schedule us with another gentleman who also wanted to see it.
Probably the coolest thing here are the grounds. There are nice paths and bells, and bridges that are great for a toddler to explore. The adobe itself was cool, but probably the smallest adobe that we've seen thus far. There were only about 3 rooms to see. There was some cool stuff in there... but as far as available adobes go, I'd rate this more an average 3 stars... but combined with the grounds, it for sure gets a 4. Check it out!

Beautiful park. Itâs my go-to place if I need a quick quiet time for myself. Itâs not too far from the city. At the same time I get nice proximity to nature. They have picnic tables, a library, art museum, hiking trails, playground for kids, a fi
Beautiful little peaceful park. Had a picnic under a shade tree and enjoyed taking mom for a little stroll on the path. Saw a few people with dogs and felt so relaxed.
This is a clean and well kept park if you need a place to take kids to left out some energy. One thing that is nice about this park is the amount of shade it has which is nice and helps keep the playground equipment cool.
This park is located near s
Their espresso drinks are great! I got my usual oat-milk cappuccino before but today I tried their americano too and the fragrance is very unique. The sweet latte with their in-house lavender syrup is also pretty amazing too.

Amazing sandwiches, very tiny store but they make the best sandwiches and sides, at this time we ordered onion rings and it was super yummy, crispy and melt in your mouth, if I could , the owner is super friendly, welcoming and helpful, and their foo
Appetizers were fire, great selection of craft beers, and amazing pizza. Servers were awesome. 100% worth a visit you won't be disappointed. Big outdoor seating is available, too. Parking crazy oj weekends.
My first time at, Glendale Market. I can honestly say I had a great experience and can't wait to try more items on the menu. I had the hot chicken sandwich (large), my brother had the hot roast beef sandwich (large), we both ended up sharing a half s
This can be a strenuous hike with a more or less continuous moderate to steep rise the whole way up. There are no significant shady sections or places to sit along the way, and it probably would be best to avoid it when it's 100°F, speaking from exp
What can I not add than what has already been pointed out in the reviews. This is an excellent organization that has not been franchised nor I think it ever should be. Various locations throughout Southern California and they operate under the same f
This one is going down in my personal favorites list. You can taste the time they invest into their broth and noodles. So tasty, and rich with flavors. My Girlfriend and I got a late lunch here. We had the Chicken Karaage, LA Tan Tan and Spicy Tonkot
You get a great cardio workout on the Seven Trees Trail. Steep and a bit slippery in places, good treads on boots definitely recommended. Both a loop trail and also extends beyond as a point to point.
The loop is short, but it also connects to a tra
Thereâs a lot to take in at Forest Lawn but one should definitely stop by the museum. Thereâs a modest collection of fantastic sculptures, statues and statuettes. Be sure to wander the grounds behind the museum for the best view of Glendale and s
