This Air B & B is incredible. The hostess thought of every single thing you might need while traveling. She has detailed notes everywhere to help. Deer roam around the front lawn and we saw a big toad jump in the creek in front of the house. It's close to everything you need.
My mother and I recently enjoyed a lovely weekend at The Castle in honor of her 88th birthday - and what a way to celebrate!!! We adored so many lovely little details scattered through the house and grounds, and Kitty was almost immediately responsive to any question we had during our stay - it felt like she was just around the corner in case we needed anything. The rooms are lovely and the beds are luxuriously comfy. We enjoyed looking though the beautiful costumes and dinning both indoors and on our lovely large balcony. One of the highlights was discovering the scavenger hunt has a truly lovely prize at the end! We will definitely stay again!
Very very clean home and so fun. The castle theme was great along with the treasure hunt and all the dress up clothes and accessories. Kitty paid attention to so much details to give to the guest to have a good time during our stay. The beds were comfy, nice and warm. We would love to come and stay again!
Cozy Castle! Stayed one February weekend at this unusual, very comfortable B and B, teaching a writing workshop. The accommodation was much better than other b and bs or retreat centers in the area, probably because the Castle is a unique, beautifully restored and renovated private home. As soon as I walked in to the living room and saw it’s plush oriental carpets and big stone fireplace, I knew it was a place of peace and comfort. My room was very quiet, with a nice view of green fields and trees. In front of the house is a “moat,” actually a nice babbling brook, that makes the place feel private and magical. Owners Kitty and John could not have been kinder or more generous. They leave guests in peace but are always just a phone call away; we found them very quick to do everything possible to keep us comfortable, well fed, warm and happy. I loved the quiet, the wine and wonderful drinking water, excellent bed, and original art...and costumes for dressing up like kings and queens if we wanted! Also loved the little touches like a treasure hunt with clues written in Child-friendly puzzles, and a sweet prize at the end. Very cozy winter retreat.
Got to spend the weekend with my other 3 siblings. We used to be 7 now just us 4. It was a great place to relax and spend time with one another. Expensive but worth it.
This place is AMAZING. We could not have asked for a better Airbnb experience. Straight out of a fairy tale with every amenity you could need, the Castle on Glen is a place that we hope to visit again.
Great place to stay - comfortable, roomy, super clean, convenient to tourist attractions. Owner was very pleasant, thoughtful, and available. Would absolutely book here again when visiting the Elmira, NY area.

So impressed with this hidden gem. I had no idea this place was a restaurant for the first 3 years living here. Now I visit weekly. The fettuccine Alfredo and harvest salad are 10/10. My go to favorites.
Awesome store always love coming here. Awesome place to bring someone. So many animals to look at. They have birds, fresh and saltwater fish, bunnies, chinchillas, hamsters, ferrets, ginni pigs, mice, shrimp, and even living coral decor for your fish
Takes a lot to impress me. Food and service were excellent. This was a first and definitely not our last time! Prices are good, too! I recommend getting their cinnamon toast, so yummy!ð
