I love this little place... And Slidell. Great daiquiris and they always have cookouts or crawfish boils outside. Really nice crowd with no burnouts in the parking lot.
Every time I go to Slidell I stop in because it’s always a great time. Lacee is always professional and friendly. We love her smiling face and hospitality when we roll in from Arkansas.
Waited over 10 minutes for the server to even acknowledge that we were there despite the place being empty. We were asking about the different flavors and the liquor included the server made us feel like we were taking up too much of her time... we left without purchasing the 6 gallons of daiquiri 😔
I truly feel that race was an issue. POC shouldn't patronize this establishment...
If you want a STRONG daiquiri,, and friendly staff,,then you are in the right place. I've been here 6 or 7 times,, and I've never been disappointed!! I just wish it was closer to me!! But I don't mind driving across town for an awesome daiquiri! A true hidden gem in Slidell. Thanks guys!!!
Wannabe Barbie bartender was incredibly rude when we walked in at 9:40 to get a drink to go. I showed my VALID out of state ID and she refused me service. Real disappointing, would not recommend.
Pulled up at 9, when they were supposed to close at 10pm! The open sign was on when I pulled up, as soon as I parked a lady turned off the open sign & waved to me through the window that they are “closed” all of a sudden. Just lazy and truly unprofessional.
Always nice girls at the counter. I took my 76 yr old mother for the first time and she had no idea what she wanted. The young lady working offered a few samples and she settled on a mudslide (combo of choc & white russian). She had it gone within 10 minutes of getting home :)

This is one of two excellent ice cream shops in Slidell. Locally owned, the Soda Shop has something for everyone. Candy, soda, floats, ice cream, malts, an arcade and putt putt. This is definitely a stop to make on your way through town. Two scoops!
