Outstanding value for great food, tremendous wealth of knowledge about the spirits on offer, and even some free legal advice if you stray off the straight and narrow a bit from time to time!! Unbeatable staff attitude makes this a must-visit destination if you find yourself in the Valley for a few days. Treat yourself to the chow, challenge the staff with your best trivia, and learn about some brown liquor factoids. So glad we stopped in! The legal advice was ROCK SOLID!! Thanks again!!
This is my go to dive bar. I love the customers there. Most of the staff are friendly. Beer selection could be better. The pizza is pretty damn good though.

Local hangout. Friendly bartenders but no servers and self service... go to bar for drinks if at a table. Lots of TVs to watch sports and cool smaller place to watch games with friends.
We haven't been here in a long time because of service. But boy has it changed. The bartender was friendly and the service was amazing. The food is still great. I know we're not going to take as long to visit Castaways like before. ❤️

UPDATED 10/17/2020 CASTAWAYS IS ALIVE AND DOING WELL WITH EXCELLENT PIZZAS AND OFF TRACK BETTING. I STOPPED IN FOR A VEGGIE THE OTHER DAY AND IT WAS PHENOMENAL. ATTACHED IS THEIR MENU FOR YOUR ENJOYMENT, AND I ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET OUT, AND SUPPORT YOUR LOCAL ESTABLISHMENTS! One of my favorite views is seeing the Papago Mountains from the inside and outside seating at Castaways. Friendly staff that makes excellent food at the most reasonable prices in town! Pizza and Italian Sandwiches are very, very, good.
