Cask and Ale - Restaurant in Sarasota - 1548 Main St, USA

I say... my posts seem to always seem to be positive BUT I swear... this place was wonderful. Happy hour drinks and food are well worth the visit. As a matter of fact the whole Main street area is a must experience.

Thoroughly enjoyed our nachos, beers and the spicy burger! If you're hungry and looking to sit on a patio and enjoy a good cocktail or craft beer, this is the place for you!

I strolled into Cask and Ale looking for something yummy for lunch. I sat at the bar and went with the bartenders recommendation of fish tacos. It was a great choice. Food arrived quickly, the team was very attentive, and the drinks were outstanding.

Went here for brunch on Saturday and it exceeded my expectations. I had the Chef’s Special, which was seafood Benedict, potatoes and fruit. The Espresso Martini didn’t disappoint either. Thank you Owen and Sarah for the amazing hospitality!

Great atmosphere, drinks and food. Mixologist Alejandro (?) is a Master. Great customer service!!!!

We arrived into town well after our typical dinner time and luckily for us, we chose the Cask & Ale as our dinner and drink destination. Unquestionably, the "chicken tenders" ranked up there as the best chicken tenders ever! Literally, hand-crafted, not too greasy, large chucks of quality tender chicken. I could also tell The 1548 Salad was put together with care as the kale, spring mix, onions, tomatoes, and the rest of the ingredients were well proportioned. The atmosphere was perfect after a day of rain with the front doors wide open overlooking the tree lit street. Kudos to Cask & Ale! Well done! Thanks for making our later than usual dinner so enjoyable.

Food was good but we wont be back. Band was setting up when we arrived. If they were already playing we would have never gonr in-the music volume was ridiculius. We had to scream at eachother and still couldnt hold conversation, and we were in the very back. Why a place wont turn it down 50%, so everyone can enjoy the music AND dining ?? We asked if theyd turn it down but it fell on deaf ears (pun intended). We love live music and the band was good but this ruined our dining experience. This is a restaurant, not a club, afterall, tone it down so everyone can enjoy music and dine.

I’ve been here 3 times. Twice pregnant with friends that are drinking and once now not pregnant. It’s been great everytime. Ambiance is cool, came in contact with 3 people that work there today and they all were super nice even though we each only got 1 delicious cocktail. Will def be back
