Casey Key Resorts - Mainland - Hotel in Osprey - 1660 S Tamiami Trail, USA

Buyer beware. The pictures and reviews are deceiving. Was traveling through the area and decided to give this place a shot because of the reviews and pictures. The lobby and pool area are phenomenal but the rooms are something else. They serve the purpose of laying your head down but that is it. Very noisy and rift raft everywhere. I'm not judging but when you are woke up to someone pounding on your window and vehicle at 5am. There is a cause for concern. Would not recommend until they finish renovations and weed out the questionable guests.

An impromptu business trip to Florida ended up needing accommodations for four nights. The General Manager Mo was so excellent, he was courteous and very thoughtful. We were given a poolside room that was quiet and clean. It was recently renovated, so the room was tiled throughout, not carpet like many others in the area. ||The front desk was very friendly and provided what we needed every time; from towels to bottled water, we were taken care of. The rates for our room were competitive, and we felt safe and comfortable in the location, not to mention free parking was provided. We did not have a chance to DINE in the hotel; however, there is a chef, and his name is placed on the sign outside the hotel; this tells me they are very confident they will impress with meals. ||We will certainly be back soon!!

Called in advance to try and get a refund as we contracted COVID just before our stay. The staff was very curt and rude. The manager, Moe is always in a meeting. They would not refund us. I asked if we should just show up and infect the whole place. They had no answer. Awful service. Update- the info from moe is incorrect. This is not how it happened. Moe would never call me back

Check-in was quick and easy. Room was nice, comfortable, clean and spacious. Breakfast included with the room. Breakfast was excellent. The coffee was really good. Nice swimming pool, good size, great happy hour pool side, good pricing. The service was also excellent, in the restaurant and the poolside. Location also very nice, easy access to restaurants and shopping. We really enjoyed our stay and will return. I thought the beds were also very comfortable. Thank you

This is a very comfortable, convenient hotel, but the best part is Chef Rolf's restaurant! Ohhhhh! Fabulous, freshly cooked food at reasonable prices. I used to come to Sarasota to visit my sister, and we would eat at Chef Rolf's restaurant. Now that we are staying here, we can enjoy his food all day long. Tonight's special was prime rib, seved with a fabulous salad, mashed potatoes, and roasted asparagus, all for $25. ||Yes, the room is fine--large and comfortable. The bathroom has nice toiletries and linens, and the hotel is very convenient, but let's talk about the brioche French toast for breakfast. And tomorrow, Chef Rolf is making roasted oysters for us for dinner. If you ard staying elsewhere, you must come here to eat!

Casey Key Resorts is an amazing place to stay, whether you go solo or with a spouse or friends. The food there is incredible and they have a tiki bar and pool, which is really fun. They also provide live music some nights. The staff is very helpful and kind. The rooms are very clean, and the bed were comfortable. The one thing I wish they had would be Jacuzzi and it would also be nice if the pool and the bar area stayed open later. All around the area of this resort there are super cool things to explore and discover – I highly recommend going to Spanish point.- it’s truly incredible

This is our 3rd consecutive year staying at Casey Key Resorts Mainland. Every stay has been incredible. We love this resort. It is super family friendly. It is centrally located to everything you could need or want. The food from Chef Rolf’s Florida Kitchen is amazing (try the flatbread pizzas or the Reuben- you won’t regret it!). The live music each night is so nice. All of the staff are helpful and friendly and you can tell they take pride in their jobs. Special shout out to Mo- the Resort Manager. He went above and beyond to welcome us back to the resort, remembering us from previous years. We had an amazing vacation. We are already planning our trip for next year. See you next time!

Our stay at Casey Key Resort was truly unforgettable. From the moment we arrived, we were treated to exceptional service and a beautiful environment. A special shoutout to Mo, the resort manager, who went above and beyond to ensure our stay was perfect. His attention to detail and friendly demeanor made us feel right at home. We took full advantage of the resort's amenities, including the infinity pool, spa, and on-site restaurants. The food was delicious, and the activities were well-organized. Overall, Casey Key Resort exceeded our expectations in every way. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway. We can't wait to return! 5 out of 5 stars!
