Cascade Escapes - Ramona Cottage and Zeb's Cabin at the foot of Pikes Peak - Mountain cabin in Cascade - 8240 Emporia Ave, USA

I stumbled across Ramona’s Cottage through the Colorado Springs “where to stay” tab, and cannot be more thankful that they had availability for Thanksgiving week. As a child my family brought my brother and I to Pikes Peak, Garden of the Gods and The Royal Gorge Bridge, and I have dreamed of bringing my own family here. My husband and kiddos got to see so many things they have never seen before. Ramona’s Cottage is in the heart of it all. Cute and quiet, and literally miles from anything and everything you could want to do. It snowed while we visited and I even cooked a whole Thanksgiving meal on Thanksgiving. What a beautiful spot! Sandy and Bob are such great hosts and I really hope to come back and visit one day!

My husband and I loved Ramona cottage! It was perfect for a romantic weekend getaway! The location is beautiful and very quiet! We took a short walk to a lovely waterfall, and enjoyed the history of this small town! The cottage was clean and the beds are very comfortable. The cabin also provided everything we needed to cook our own meals which is a huge plus! And lastly the hot tub was just what we needed and very wonderful! Overall, a Great experience, we highly recommend Ramona cottage! Such a treasure in the mountains!! We will be back!

We stayed at Ramona Cottage for four days recently through my birthday on July 1st. It was so amazing! The porch is a treasure all in its own - we spent a lot of time on the porch to soak in the amazing views of the mountain side, and chat with folks walking by. The hot tub was just what we needed to further relax us. It was so very peaceful. We couldn't believe we hadn't booked here before - makes ya feel worlds away when it really is not that far at all. Highly recommend this cute, cozy and historic cabin that the owners have certainly put their own touches on! Thanks Sandy and Bob!

Ramona cottage: Our family wanted time away in the mountains and we achieved it in the best way at this cottage. We didn’t have much time And we were winging it for a long weekend of adventure. Sandy was super helpful in getting us in for a spontaneous night last minute. We felt so at peace and I’d go as far to say we wondered out loud what it would take to live there forever; it’s that great! 💕 every room including the covered front porch is beautifully furnished and decorated. The beds are large, comfortable, and clean. The bathrooms were unique and had a spa-like feeling. The views and property surrounding were incredible. The hot tub out back was a nice touch as well!

We had a great stay at Zeb’s Cabin. The cabin and extra room gave my family of 5 plenty of room to spread out. The house is clean and very well appointed with plenty of towels.The hot tub was a wonderful way to relax after exploring. We loved being close to the town of Manitou Springs-what a great place! Convenient to Piles Peak, Manitou Springs and Colorado Springs. We would stay here again if in the area. The owners were very responsive via text, even having the cabin ready for an early check in.

We had a great time at Zeb's Cabin! Perfect spot close to Cascade/North Pole/Manitou while also having a remote feel (we saw plenty of deer in the yard). Well maintained, plenty of beds and very gracious hosts.

We stayed at Ramona Cottage for 2 nights last week and it was just wonderful! The owner has done some redecorating since the photos on the website and it is even cuter than before! The bed was extremely comfy with luxury linens. We enjoyed our coffee on the front porch and saw a black bear from a safe distance. We also really enjoyed having the hot tub to ourselves. The owner also left a cute map on the desk that gave us directions to a nice hike to a waterfall. So cool! We will definitely be returning for another visit.

My wife and I recently took our oldest granddaughter with us for a week's stay at Ramona's cottage. The location was beautiful, surrounded by mountains and quiet streams. It was a peaceful, serene location just west of Manitou Springs. The cottage was well-equipped with necessities for our week together. We all slept wonderfully in the comfortable beds and enjoyed mornings and evenings, on the front porch, in the well-equipped living room, or in the hot tub.
