Casa Mirella - Apartment complex in Windermere - 101 Casa Mirella Way, USA

SO GLAD TO BE GONE!!! I don’t even know where to start. My boyfriend & I are 23 & only lived there for one lease term. The gates were constantly broken, so there was no sense of security. Another huge security issue: AIRBNB ARE ALLOWED & we didn’t find out until we read some reviews after we left. This is a “luxury” apartment complex that charges you for every little thing when the gym is smaller than your bedroom, but it’s meant for everyone, & you will never EVER find parking!!!! The management changed THREE TIMES just in the 12 months we were there!! Right as we were leaving they changed the way rent is paid to an outdated website that doesn’t stay up to date, & changed the trash cans. Previously, the outside trash cans looked discrete, almost like outside seating, & held 2, even 3 full bags of trash. Then, the newest management changed them to cheap college dorm lookin’ cans that barely hold one full trash bag. The walls are paper thin & you WILL hear your neighbors!!! We had a belligerent drunk for a downstairs neighbor!! He played music so loudly that our floor would shake!!! We had to call police on multiple, multiple occasions. Not to mention, he was very confrontational & would come to our door at night & make threats. Never ONCE did ANY of the MULTIPLE managements do A SINGLE SOLITARY THING!!!!! I’m also showing a picture of water pouring into our apartment at 8am at some point when maintenance decided to power wash. I could keep going & going but the most disgusting thing we saw was thankfully as we were leaving! The garbage/dump area is not kept after AT ALL!! Please do yourself a favor & AVOID spending $2,000 on rent for a one bedroom when nothing about anything is luxury!!!!!

Casa Mirella is a Beautiful property, with excellent units. I get my privacy - because of how well built the units are (especially the walls), the neighbors are great, and it’s a very safe community for my family and I to enjoy. Not to mention how conveniently located to everything we are. They truly are “Luxury Apartments” and I recommend Casa Mirella to people constantly. The onsite maintenance team at Casa Mirella are phenomenal. It often feels like no sooner than I hit “submit”, on the resident portal, they’re already at the door ready to take care of any issue. The maintenance supervisor is a great guy, very personable, and happy to follow up with work orders himself to ensure everything is running smoothly. Management here is truly a pleasure as well. Monique & Brittany are professional, efficient, and they sincerely care about the resident’s experience. They know you by name, are understanding, and go above and beyond to make sure my family and I are happy living here…which we are! I don’t write a lot of reviews, but I know it can be difficult finding the right area or neighborhood to move into, plus you gotta tip your hat to a group that is doing a job well done. So, I hope this helps narrow your search a bit 😊

After 5 years of being in this complex and countless take overs by different management agencies; we finally have a competent group. Anesti Ruiz has been a key player in accommodation and getting this place back on track. She is a breath of fresh air in the community along with the new Leadership. It was because of her we decided to extend our lease another year when we were ready to take a loss just to get out of here. We appreciate all the new staff that has taken over and we hope they stay with us during our last year here.

Beware!!!! Don’t move here!!! GVA management steals your money! I moved out in July and have yet to receive my security deposit that is owed to me. I’ve been given the run around by several members of management. The property manager Monique lacks empathy and displays poor leadership. I ask for a follow up and never get called back. I have to continue calling and emailing and get no response. Monique refused to help me and even hung up on me. Sheila the regional manager has never replied to any of my emails and has never acknowledged the situation. Living here was a disaster and horrible, mold, bugs, ac issues, breezeways are disgusting, terrible cable, and the pool was shut down by the city several times. Casa Mirella is a terrible place to rent from, it’s not luxury, it’s hot garbage. I will continue to post reviews until someone provides me my refund in full. I’m legally owed this deposit and will keep sharing my story. Do NOT move here! If I could give ZERO stars I would! GVA you should be ashamed of yourselves.

ZEROOOO STARS! The worst place i have ever lived, my unit has flooded four times since I have lived here, which hasn’t even been for six months. During that time they have not been able to replace anything that gets damaged nor have the urgency or care to clean the water that has been on your floor for three days. The emergency line does not work nor does anybody take messages at the office, I highly recommend living anywhere else if you wanna have some sanity in your own home. I’ve been missing half of my floor in the bathroom for the past five months, and every time I’ve been to the office the manager has told me it is not important for them because they have other projects on the property. Mind you this has been the same response I have gotten for a lot of my work orders, you are not going to get paid for the time that you spend in the office making sure that they do their job. At the end of the day this is my home, and I can’t even living at half the time.

Many is such a good maintenance worker! He was very informative about my issue in my unit. He have very good customer service skills and was very patient with me.

I just wanted to say, the honesty the leasing agent is excellent. When I have come to her with complaints is always handle in an efficient way. Thank you guys. The maintenance guys are really good.

Maria is the best Director that we have had. Very professional, friendly and courteous! If I could give her a 10 Star rating I would but 5 Star works for us. ABC and EC
