Casa Maria - Mexican restaurant in Clovis - 180 Shaw Ave, USA

Finally a place that has menudo on Saturday and Sunday. That menudo dish was so good. I had it on Saturday at lunch with a friend and I returned on Sunday with my kids before my flight home.

We went here for Father's day while visiting my husband's family. Outside of it being extremely busy for the holiday it was a lovely experience. The chips were great, warm, complementary and bottomless. The salsa was not too hot and had a great taste. I ordered the steak and chicken fajitas and they were so large we had enough for 2 of us to eat for dinner the next night. My husband got the tostada compuesta. A large fried flour tortilla with choice of meat and all the fixings. My mother-in-law got a chicken burrito that was stuffed full of chicken. My father-in-law got chicken enchiladas. Everything was good and prices were very reasonable. It was disappointing to find out they no longer give a veterans or military discount.

Good food, good service, fair prices and a very clean restroom. We’ve been looking for a good Mexican restaurant in Clovis since we moved here 16 years- we finally found it. Now we come every week. ♥️

Excellent food and nice family atmosphere. Had enchiladas and shrimp tacos, the accompanying rice, beans, and albondigas were all delicious. Fresh made chips and salsa. Thanks Luis for the friendly and attentive service!

I have been coming here for years, dine in and take out! They are AWESOME! The food is always fresh and tastes great! They do get a little busy because it's so popular. It's a Clovis favorite but I don't mind the wait, I usually call in a order a head of time. Always good, and they always make you feel like your home!

Atmosphere was busy, but in no way did the staff look stressed, no unhappy or impatient faces! Wait staff wore masks and spoke so they didn't have to repeat themselves. My party of 7 were seated immediately upon arrival with no waiting. This was after we were treated indifferently by another nearby restaurant mind you. Initial drinks were ordered and delivered meals were taken and they were delicious, the mole sauce on their enchiladas was perfect. Dark but not burnt, and slightly bitter, blended with the rest of the dish. I have to day a pleasant note to the cleanliness of the men's bathroom. All in all a great experience!

Food okay , could be better ! Also the service is alright but they do take forever to bring out your order! This my second time eating here and I noticed that they microwave the food here ! If you watch the show restaurant/bar rescue , they say if your plate is hotter then the food , then they microwave it , also they need to let the people know if they have a party more then 10 people they do charge themselves their 20% tip with your order !

Great food!! This place is as Mexican as it gets. Beautiful decor, delicious food, I can't wait to go back!! 🇲🇽👍🤯
