Great food in the deli area! It was the best burrito I've had in a long time. The carne asada is amazing! Everything is homemade. Tortillas and the beans were my favorite parts! It's definitely a must-have in Gridley!
The store is big and well maintained this is a really good Mexican store they have butcher, carniceria and a well stock store , let me get to the tacos , I had 3 tacos 2 cabeza (beef's head ) and 1 lengua ( tongue) tacos were really good good flavor, the tortilla on point , soft and tasty and just the right size, no doble tortilla wich is fine the flavor is good , the meet the carne was well seasoned good flavor and good texture the salsa verde pretty good the tomatillo tatemado good flavor and smoky overall great tacos definitely recommend it . Beto- aprove!
Overall a good experience. First time trying Torta and while the Asada couldce gad more flavor it was still good.
Always seems busy. Burritos are good. Family gets carnitas and chicharrones. Menudo on Sunday mornings.
I have been to casa lupe ever since I remember they have fresh cooked CARNITAS ,PORK RIBS , and CHICHARRONES (PORK RINDS) freshly made,They also have WARM TORTILLAS they have different salsas, and Don't forget to get Pan dulce Mexican sweet bread freshly made too !! It's a great 25 minute ride well worth it,I usually ask for 2 pounds of carnitas and I grab a pack of warm tortillas grab a drink and sit at a park in Gridley Ca and enjoy!!!! DELICIOUS!!!!!!! I truly recommend this place if u like to enjoy the outdoors.
Deli and market in one spot. Great variety and selection of items.
Place was not as big as I thought it would be, other than that it was nice, had the caramel wafers I loved as a child, got chili lime flavored dried lima beans for snacking, fresh made tortillas, chicharrones to make at home, wish there was a Cárdenas out here, those are huge stores, with more variety.
