Upon first arrival while the snowbirds were still residing in the resort, everything was great. However, once the weather started to warm up the Northerners left and new management took over, we saw a quick decline in the overall resort. On the plus side, there are two dog parks within the resort, a fitness room, craft room, a beautiful pool area, a laundry center, and a cemented pad per space. The parking spot for campers is rocks, which does inhibit the use of some leveling devices. There used to be also a mail room, but certain packages are delivered to actual sites.

I thought I was home. Only to be sadly awoken to reality. The staff here has no clue what they are doing! Beautiful place but poor managing. Was told just changed management do to unknown reasons.... I could go on forever about the craziness I've seen here. To start with to ladies I'm sure were janitors of sorts cleaning the pool side grill flooded entire patio area with water and cleaning solutions. So much so it started running into the pool. Obviously have no idea what they are doing. I sat back and laughed hindsight I should've recorded it and posted it. Definitely would have went viral! Same lady just seems to wander aimlessly around park must be unsupervised I don't think she does anything. Needless to say the pool was super cloudy the rest of the day. I told the maintenance guy that night about it. He apologized for her and promptly started addressing pool. Seen him diligently cleaning and checking pool several times throughout the next day. So I guess there was some redemption. Sites are clean as are roads and anywhere outside in the park. Unfortunately not the same in the facilities. They were for awhile I don't know what happened. Pay very close attention to your bills. Rent and electric are messed up on a regular basis. Read your meter and keep track for yourself take pictures. The office is not properly ran or trained to fix bill. It will get messed up at least once while your here. They will try and just bill your credit card fyi so be careful.

We stayed here for a month in April in our motorhome and only had positive experiences. The sites are large, level, and full hookup. Most campers keep to themselves and seem to be men that work in the area for the season. The pool and hot tub area was always clean, working, and usually empty! We used the puzzle room, pool tables, game room, and came to one of the park hosted dinners. It was delicious! They have little perks like free tea/lemonaid/popcorn/coffee which is a nice touch. The workers are always busy and never bother you and they allowed us a late check out without any fuss! There are two dog parks that are okay! We would definitely stay here again when we return to Casa Grande!

We came here with trepidation based on previous reviews...but it turned out to be an amazing place. We had booked a cabin and an RV spot. We reserved the cabin for our daughter, husband and twin 4 year old boys. The booking process was so well done, I asked a million questions and they were all answered. The week before we were to arrive, they called to make sure there wasn't a mix up with us having two reservations. I felt that was a really nice thing to do, it's not every day that people reserve both. So to doubycheck...great idea! The check in process was so simple and organized. We arrived on Sunday, the office was closed, but they had everything ready for us, as per great instructions. Our family wasn't arriving for a couple of days. I went to the office to inquire about having access to the cabin in the morning of their arrival to stock it with groceries. They actually gave me the keys for the day before, that was so appreciated...thank you! They offer breakfast Monday through Friday...free! Amy and her crew do an amazing job. They not only serve great breakfast with a smile, they keep the popcorn popping, the lemonade, iced tea and coffee ready at all times of the day. Amy also found some great kid friendly games for our grandsons. Our grandsons also used the horseshoe pits as sandboxes...they loved it!! The grounds, buildings, pools and hot tub are always very clean. They offer lots of great activities, brunch, donut Saturday, dinners and much more. This was a really positive experience for our family. From the really great people who stay there to the resort staff!! To the staff a HUGE THANK YOU! We are looking forward to returning this fall as we make our way south!

Me and my fiancé are transitioning from California and since he was already driving for a local company decided to buy a travel trailer and that way we could take our time to find a place and me a job. That being said I was 5 hrs away searching high and low for a place to live, talked to Barbara and she was so informative and welcoming I choose for us to come here!! Let me tell you 100 star service from checking in and picking a site !! And of course life wouldn’t be normal without some kinda hiccup well you guess it I had a maintenance emergency and trust and believe it happened after hrs and they responded within minutes!! All fixed on their end but still had some stuff to handle with electrical on ours and being without Ac in the middle of az with a 120 lb service dog is not good they were so accommodating and loved on my big boy the whole day till I got things running again. It definitely is a family feeling here. The park is always beautiful and maintained and they work so hard to keep up with everything!! Hands down there is no other choice but here!!

I blame the owners for lack of good judgement, accountability, for all the negative reviews and stories I witnessed while my family stayed at this resort. ||||They had way too many rules, kicked people out without any reason. The owners are too cheap to make a nice playground for kids, there are huge pot holes everywhere in the road. ||||The drama is unreal with many unhappy families. The owners drive around & judge the sites, then complain to management if they see towels draped to dry outside. ||||It’s more stress to stay here than it’s worth. They are hard on families. The owners are entitled and don’t understand the value & definition of hospitality. ||||I can’t wait for another investor to compete with or buy this place! These owners are a joke!

I have had the worst experiences here! I had to stay for business several times as this is where my employer puts us. Several times when I've checked there was no bedding! I have had my groceries stolen more then once as if once wasn't bad enough. My work mate had their boots stolen! I checked in once the trash was in kitchen sink there was vomit in bathroom sink and fecal matter on toilet. Don't bother calling manager she doesn't answer the phone most of the time and when she does says there is nothing she can do. I have been forced to come for a while now and previous management was so much better nicer and far more competent as well as housekeeping. This place is rapidly going down hill!!

If you are not part of the 55+ community without pets I’d shy away. First off I will say you’ll read reviews accusing the managers, that’s a whole nother set of issues, but this is ran by Copperwood Communities. Don’t try to get in touch with them about issues, they won’t respond. As landlords and business owners ourselves we thought that you could talk to these people to try and solve issues but they are just in it for money. They own 9 places in the AZ area and we won’t be staying at any because of their ridiculous rules, unfriendliness toward children, inability to communicate and lack of upkeep on facilities. Communication lacking- You really have to make the effort. Harassment- You can be talked to and yelled at for anything. Rules/Policies- I have never seen such a large rule packet before with red and caps all over it for an RV “resort”. It was 9 pages then during office check in I received another 3 pages for having a pet. This is 12 pages of rules. Safety- The safety team doesn’t make me feel very safe. Bikes still get stolen and people can get in. They just ride around on golf carts harassing people and being creepy. One gentlemen even touched me. I notice a target toward the ‘mom’ group. There’s even a disturbing bumper sticker that says “Sorry Kids” on one of the golf carts. Amenities- The library has a large collection of older books, & they will not take donations. If you want out of the Clive Cussler and Danielle steel era’s or something for your kids you’ll just have to utilize the city library. No playground. The dog parks aren’t for dogs under 15lbs as the bar spacing is large and one is a drainage ditch. Maintenance Issues: There are several potholes that need to be filled. There isn’t an urgency to fix broken things. Laundry room and gym always had something, many times multiple out of order. The water was shut off at least 8 times during our short stay. Staff- There are some friendly staff but because this is an unpaid position there’s also a lot of uneducated people looking for a free place to stay who take their “job” too seriously because they have nothing else going for them. Overcharge- Your electric is charged .19 kw which is more than the .15 kw city average to cover the electric elsewhere in the city-including other RV parks. The cameras are everywhere but they made me more uncomfortable than safe. They don’t look at the staff’s young teen who dog sits by spending her time at the dog park on phone and not cleaning their poop. Or the staff that had a dog attack mine out of nowhere to the point where another camper had to step in. Every time I went to the pool/spa a man on staff (there’s two specifically) would come out and check water heater or look around and stare from the eating space area. It’s so creepy and odd. I was in the spa one time as a gentlemen was dozing off in the spa across from me and he was awoken and screamed at for leaving the gate open, which he did not do. It was left that way by someone else and I did step in to say something. We were even told by staff they watch the pool cameras - to apparently look for rules being broke but I am not so sure that is all it’s used for. And if you have taken the time to read this the absolute WORST thing is that the owners are finally making changes- by firing a significant amount of the staff but it is ONLY being done because they are losing money. Even though the complaints people have had have been going on for well over a year the owners are only willing to step in now because they are not profiting what they used to. Complaints date back to a couple years ago with the new ownership with people feeling uncomfortable and harassed. Good owners would look into that but not these guys. We heard at least a handful of complaints to office staff during our 4 month stay. I’m sure there was way more that we just weren’t around to hear. Even if they fix things up and get new managers I won’t give these guys a dime of my money and they won’t be going in any of our recommendations to others.
