Casa de Playa 204 has a nice balcony overlooking the ocean. It's a great location, near lots of local restaurants. The condo was clean. Furniture is old and carpets are dirty.

We stayed in 202 for 4 weeks over the holidays. We have rented in Indian Rocks Beach for 3 years and this year we chose Casa dePlaya because the condo was larger and we needed a larger place because we have a new addition to the family. The family enjoyed their stay this year. The condo is charming and the decor is carefully thought out....very clean too. The owner provided a port-a-crib, stroller, and booster high chair for use in the condo. The pool was clean and our family enjoyed many good times in the pool and on the beach. The condo grill area is clean and easy to use. The assigned parking space for the condo is quite tight and we ended up parking in the guest spots (only a few on a first come basis). The walls are thin and it is easy to hear the neighbors and the thundering footsteps above.|| The kitchen is functional and the owner had just installed beautiful quartz countertops. However, he phoned us the day before we left for our rental and informed us that the backsplash wasn't in and was there a day or two when we would be out of the property so it could be installed....didn't know what to say because we had so many in our family there to enjoy the beach and rest. Also wanted us to remove a cabinet door so it could be test painted for repainting....wasn't able to accommodate either request but am sure that it is now done beautifully.|| The bedrooms are nice and large and bedding quite comfortable.|| There is a protective film covering for the patio doors which look out over the pool and ocean and this helps block the sun which sets over the ocean. There are shades for the patio doors as well. The view of the ocean is breath-taking...|| It was customary in our previous rentals for the owner/management to start the renters out with paper towels, toilet paper, dishwasher pods and liquid. However, there were only a few sheet so paper towels on the roll as well as the toilet paper and no dishwasher pods and very little dishwashing liquid.|| The owner uses as towel/linen service and it replaced the towels/linens once mid-way through our 4 week stay. The replacement towels however differed from the towels when we arrived and were very poor quality. There is a stackable washer/dryer in the unit and although it is older, it functioned very well. There were only 4 beach towels for a 6 person rental.|| The condo is located within walking distance of many fine eateries which are very reasonably priced. Internet was very slow...it didn't work in the master bedroom.|| Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

The area is fantastic! However the condo was not. Tv and other electronics didn’t work properly. Appliances were broken. Dishes had food on them from the last guests. Others staying were extremely loud and caused issues. Indian Rock Beach deserves a 5 while the resort only deserves a 1-2. Also make sure to lock everything up or it will get stolen from guests and workers.

This is a fantastic beach. Casa de Playa is overall a very nice condo building. It's on the small side which is great for those who hate crowded massive condos. We never use the pool but it is heated and somewhat small. The top level condo furthest south is the best one by far. 4th floor with incredible views and privacy and that is what is the best part. The kitchen is fully stocked and the decor inside is very nice. The negative side is that the master bedroom is furthest room from beach. I like to be able to have doors and a balcony from bedroom to beach but that is the trade off. Other than that, I really like this place!

Our stay was wonderful. We were on the top floor. Owners live here sometimes, and we were thrilled with the amenities and location. So easy to get anywhere, and right on the beach. More a family location than the hipsters on spring break. We stayed for 7 nights, many restaurants around, and grocery stores. Shelling wasn't the best in March (note to self), but condo was great, had everything we needed, owners left us fruit, veg tray, and croissants. Pool was wonderful, and the less than 1 minute walk to the beach was perfect. Never a problem to social distance! So gad I got to come, and hope to visit again.

We just stayed in Unit 205 at Casa De Playa in December, 2016. It was a great unit, but I'm talking about the condo building itself in this review. ||Indian Rocks Beach is a fabulous, small Florida town between the Gulf of Mexico & the Intercoastal. We've vacationed here 6 weeks, finding the people friendly, and we love the restaurants, beach, & sunset views. ||Casa De Playa is well maintained, with clean common areas, and a beautiful pool with spacious deck areas. Private beach entrance behind the pool area. The garage spaces are good. Elevator and stairs too. Being right on Gulf Blvd. it's easy to get to the local restaurants, and the bridge to go over to Largo for stores.||Drawbacks ---- There was a lack of good sound insulation construction between the units & floors. Wood, not cement & blocks. You can hear the neighbors quite easily. Plus the Casa units on the South end are open to potential noise from the Granger House rental property right next door. ||The balcony views of the beach and Gulf are magnificent! Sunsets are awesome! That is the best feature here.||Hope you enjoy your vacation here as much as we did.||Cheers! ----- Ken

We just got back from a wonderful stay in unit 211 at Casa de Playa. We rented from 3palms and had no issues at all. Unit 211 is on third floor so we did not experience noise issues as others have mentioned. The elevator is right outside the door but again no noise issues. There are 14 units in the building. Neither the pool nor the beach felt crowded. It was so relaxing to be able to go to beach or pool at any time of day and know we would have a prime spot as opposed to a more crowded place like Clearwater. ||We flew to IRB so we couldn’t bring any beach gear with us and I was happy to find about a dozen beach towels, some (old) beach chairs, coolers, beach mats, and a basket of beach toys in the unit. We did have to buy a small umbrella and left that behind for others to enjoy. ||The unit was stocked with paper towels, dish soap, Tupperware, plastic/foil wrap, bars of soap for each bathroom, some laundry detergent and all cleaning supplies. We also found some spices, olive oil, creamer and coffee filters. The kitchen is fully stocked with just about anything you could think of, pots/pans were very good quality, large crock pot and lots of baking pans. The only thing the unit does NOT have are baby items like sippy cups, small silverware, crib or high chair. 3palms did suggest some rental companies that offer baby and beach equipment that we did not end up using. We used Instacart to have groceries delivered. ||All in all, I highly recommend this unit and Casa de Playa. We will absolutely be back.

Even though we live in the area we had a great stay it was what the doctor order gulf breeze and waves crashing. The condo we stayed in was updated and beautifully furnished. The owners left notes as were to eat in the area a couple of the places that we hadn't been to so we gave them a try. We were pleased with them. We will be back for another stay

Found this quaint place right on the beach. Hosts were fabulous. Accommodations were great and amenities included beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas. Uncrowded beach even though public. Close to so many things either walking or driving. Fantastic gu
