I just had the most amazing meal at Casa Borinquena, and I can't wait to share my experience! The potato balls were seriously tasty, especially with that sauce they came with. And let's talk about the chicken skewer – it was packed with flavor and cooked just right. Oh, and the empanadas? They were nothing short of heavenly. To balance out all the richness, I tried the cucumber pineapple, and boy, was it a refreshing explosion of flavors. If you're up for an unforgettable culinary adventure, Casa Borinquena is the place to be!

Absolutely incredible. Some of the best food I ever had in my life. That’s coming from a big time foodie. I grew up on the east coast, I’ve eaten Puerto Rican food all over New York, New Jersey, and Florida and I have to say this is top tier stuff. I wish I lived nearby so I could support all the time. This lady is insane with the cooking skills. Highly recommend!

Loved the pinchos, bocadillos, arroz con gandules were KILLER and the mofongo was DELICIOUS. The food is made with love- it’s obvious. Came out from Philly for a biz trip and made a point to stop by. So grateful I did. Gotta support my Boricua fam! Recommend this place if you love flavorful food.

YUHHHHMMMMMM!!!!!! I had been eyeing their Instagram from across the Bay (SF) for months now and finally had the supreme pleasure of trying them out tonight! SO DELICIOUS! My friend and I got the Pasteles Plate and the Bori Fries. The Pasteles plate came with choice of plantains (tostones or maduros) and I opted for the tostones this time. Savory and salted perfectly! The plate was definitely traditional and made with love. It is always such a great experience to taste authentic food from other cultures. The Bori fries were absolutely ridiculous. Highly HIGHLY recommend. Perfectly crispy cassava and the sauces??? What kind of magic??? The ambiance is very casual but sweet. Staff were super friendly and informative and you can tell they all really care about what they're doing. We had the pleasure of meeting the star chef herself and she was absolutely lovely. This place will definitely expand because it is just too delicious to be off the beaten track - and word will continue to spread. Fingers crossed they expand to SF soon!

Food was out of this world, Best Puerto Rican food I've had in a long time!! Went w a big party, split checks no problem. Beautiful space, easy parking, friendly staff, fast service. Love this spot!!

The bori fries are so crispy, tasty, and filling with a killer sauce and vegan chicken. Also recommend the chicken sampler plate. Chef Lulu was incredibly friendly and happy to answer any questions. Love this place, will be back!

My new favorite spot. The sampler is amazing. The staff is so sweet. The owner came and chatted with us to make sure we were happy several times. This is an east bay must eat at spot.

The chef personally handed us our food, which she does for all her clients. And I know why. It's amazing! Believe it or not this is a vegan restaurant with better "chicken" than a lot of chicken restaurant, and it's inside a perfectly fried empanada (pastelillo). The plantane/beef dish (loaded tostones) are phenomenal. And the stuffed potato ball w/ beef (relleno de papa) is delicious. Thanks for a great meal. We will be back!
