I agree with my hubby - would give this place 10 stars if I could! I thought everything about this place was special. It was quaint, beautiful and walking distance to town & restaurants. Our room was gorgeous, as was every other part of the Inn that we saw. Breakfast was great, too - made to order with some wonderful choices. I would take this lovely Inn over a chain hotel any day of the week! What a truly lovely place.

If I could give this place a 10 I would! Everything about it was wonderful. It's conveniently located in the heart of Taos within walking distance of shops and restaurants. The rooms are spacious and exquisitely decorated. The staff bends over backwards to make sure you're happy. The breakfast was delicious and cooked to order. And finally the room rates were very reasonable. I would absolutely recommend this place.

Beautiful hotel with exquisite details and historic art. The breakfast was delicious and the service was excellent. A very fun and cozy place to stay right in the center of town.

This is hands down the best place we have stayed at in Taos. Great location for walking to all the local spots, ample parking, quiet, comfortable and super clean. The decor was spot on and that breakfast alone was better than any restaurant in the area. You guys have outdone yourselves and I can’t wait to visit again. Thank you for the perfect vacation!

Absolutley wonderful service! The staff are so friendly and nice! We had to unexpectedly entend our stay and they were able to accomodate us with another room despite it being almost immediate. Breakfast is awesome, well cooked and presented.

This is a wonderful bed and breakfast. The location is in walking distance to the plaza in Taos - a few doors away from the Kit Carson Museum. We were able to easily park the car near our rooms. The main lobby, sitting room, dining room and terrace are gorgeous. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast each morning - especially loved the homemade muffins. Our room (San Tomas) was spacious and very comfortable - sort of a shrine too. The room faces to the road but we did not hear any traffic at night. The staff is friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here when visiting Taos.

This was a fabulous place to stay in Taos. Our room (San Tomas) was amazing and conveyed the charm of Taos. The art and décor were very indicative of the southwest. ||Our room felt private and spacious. We took advantage of the sitting area with its wicker style chairs, the large screen TV and the small fridge/freezer to store our drinks, leftovers and snacks. Besides the southwest furnishings, the room included a tile floor and adobe type walls. The bathroom with its skylight provided natural light and gave the room further uniqueness. ||It was a short walk across the driveway and courtyard to the main building and breakfast room where once again, the artwork was stunning. A wonderful house-made breakfast was included in the cost of our stay. The servers waited on us promptly. Although there were plenty of tables, it would be easy to sit and get acquainted with other guests. Our breakfasts were delicious and provided a taste of southwest cuisine. I completely enjoyed the egg custard with green chili peppers and tomatoes and the fluffy tortilla served with green or red chili sauce. Delicious! ||The Inn has a terrific location, close to the plaza, shops and restaurants. Parking is convenient and easily walkable to the center of town. ||If you have the good fortune to visit Taos, staying at Casa Benevides should be on your list.|

This B&B is nicely located in the older part of Taos. I stayed in the Miramon room. Pluses: Miramon is roomy, two former rooms combined into one. The wingback chairs are comfortable. The mattress was good, medium/firm with a pillow topper. The pillows and linens were good. Minuses: The sofa cushions sank to the floor. Some electrical outlets had one receptacle out - watch out for this (my IPad is at 16% after being plugged in all night?) The window AC is barely adequate for a room this size and runs continuously during day. It is also very noisy. In the evening it cycles off and on in an loud, annoying manner. At night the crickets just outside the room in the small grass area opposite the door were LOUD (could them over the AC, which is saying something, and kept going to at least 11:30 that I'm aware of. There are blinds on the windows, no curtains. The door, which has a window, is part of a bay window arrangement with large windows on either side. At night 2 bright outside lighting fixtures come on next to these windows. There is noticeable gap around the blinds which allows a great deal of light in the room, making it appear as though there were multiple night lights in that area (Not good if you prefer a dark room for sleeping) One end of the room faces Kit Carson Rd. Cars, trucks (some loud), and motorcycles use this road starting early in the morning and lasting until late. I ended up using ear plugs and an eye mask to keep out the light and the different noises listed above. Breakfast: Not for those with a hearty appetite. There is choice of a starter and main dish. Both are rather small portions, e.g., the French Toast main dish consisted of 2 slices of thin white bread and one small foil wrapped butter patty (a second patty was available on request). I had the baked egg dish the next day. It was a slice about as big as a slice of Key lime pie (i.e., small). No seconds on starters or main dish (although I was able to get a muffin by asking if I could get anything else). The coffee cups are small. If you like a lot of coffee you'll be looking for a server to ask for a refill often. On the first day there were two servers in the dinning area. On the second only one when I ate.
