This was the first restaurant my husband and I tried after arriving to Durango and it was a great one! The vibe was quiet and dark/moody inside. It made for a great place for a romantic date. Our waitress was attentive and professional.
The pretzel was huge and scrumptious! We split one and honestly, I could have had one to myself and filled up on that and beer. The mac and cheese with bacon crumbles had good cheesy flavor and the portion size was huge. I took about half of it home.
Beer was top notch! I’m a craft beer fan, love to try all varieties and this place hit the spot!
Tasty southwestern cuisine, great drinks, overall solid joint. I had the enchiladas and the wife had mac n cheese. Both were not mind-blowing by any means, but still delicious and good for the price. Drinks were fantastic, and the staff was friendly. Definitely a good stop while in Durango.
*Update* I returned and had the Corned Beef Reuben. It was one of the best reubens I've had in a long time. Juicy and fantastic, the bread was toasted to perfection. The fried zucchini was a little bland, some green chile or even a little garlic would help. All in all, loved the experience! - I've lived in the area all my life. How did I overlook Carver Brewing Co.? The food was fantastic! The angel wings had the most amazing flavor, and those alone would send me back. We had the burgers, and they were cooked perfectly, juicy, and delicious. Try the tatanka, Buffalo is one of my favorite proteins.
This is my go to, every time. I’m not big on eating out but I will for here and I’m sure take out is an option. I had some veggie sides and fries with some chili and cheese. My partner had the Colorado Mojado which is absolutely amazing!!! I love their lightner creek lager. It’s right along the main road and perfect stop while you’re browsing or headed through.
Couldn’t stop going back to this place. First visit was beers and apps. Second was cocktails and dinner. Third was dessert and drinks. This was over the course of 28 hours with plenty of other options. Everything we ate/drank was delicious and the staff was helpful and super positive. Look forward to another visit
Cool place on Main St. Oldest brewpub in the Southwest, apparently. Excellent beer & food. Really great service. I had the portobello melt & a flight of dark beers. Good stuff!
We took advantage of their outdoor dining for lunch. The food was delicious, and our waitress was experienced, attentive, and gave great advice for food choices. The chimchurri salad with salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The peach desert was very creamy and enjoyable.
The food was excellent, the atmosphere was superb but there was no connection with our waitress. She did her job but that was it. Was she having a bad day? Was it because we were gay? Which is the thought I had because she went out of her way to serve the man/woman couple behind us. I left with a sour taste in my mouth...
The restaurant was busy even on a Tuesday night. We had about a 40 minute wait. But the wait was worth it. We had a few drinks while we waited and they were good and strong. Then dinner was delicious. We ordered blackened trout, Mac n cheese, Cesar s
I started in August by doing the body evolution program at Summit and lost over 20 pounds, and I am still losing weight and feeling stronger every day from attending the group classes regularly at Summit. The trainers are great and the classes are fu
Beautiful trail, now one of our favorite hikes. The views for most of the hike are beautiful. If you're going to the lakes, make a left at the fork and go clockwise. If you do so, the incline will be gradual. If you go to the right, the incline will
I like higher end coffee and not super sweet specialty drinks. Basically coffee done well. This place hit the target for me. Good coffee. I got the seasonal Caramel Pumpkin Latte. Not too sweet
This place is amazing. Itâs a great dog-friendly spot with picnic tables overlooking gorgeous farmland and mountains aplenty. The Signature Burger was cooked to perfection and the flavors we spot on. The fingerling French fries has me questioning w
This is definitely a must stay place! Location is wonderful and the rooms are terrific! Friendly staff and rooms are well stocked and love all the antique furniture, we will definitely book this place again in the future! Love it!
Heading out to Durango asked the check out attendant at the hotel desk for brunch recommendation with parking (wanted to avoid downtown schlepp). Rupert's was recommended for great parking AND great brunch. They delivered perfectly, great meal, f
I had an amazing time here with my family while visiting Durango. We ordered three types of crepes: turkey, provolone, and lingonberries; chicken and wild mushrooms, and lemon cream. We also ordered French onion soup. We also got complimentary apple
This was a 3.94 mile hike from the trailhead. This is a popular, heavily traveled section of the CT. The trail is great and the views are terrific. But from Gudy's Rest proper, the views are absolutely delicious. It's a great place to stop and admire
Friendly service. I ordered the roast beef, it was yummy. Probably the best Au Jus I've ever had, it actually had flavor besides just salty brown water. All seat inside are hightops, but outside, they have picnic like tables.
