So full of flavor and absolutely delicious!! The taco flight is such a great idea. Lots of yummy unique flavors. The quesadillas and multiple homemade salsas are also so good. Owner and employees were all great. Can't wait to go back and try more!

WOW! I cannot recommend a taco place more than Carter's Table. It is like a gourmet and affordable version of Torchy's Tacos down in Texas. The tacos are absolutely bursting with flavors! I highly recommend getting the Taco Flight so you can try 3 varieties. So far the Brisket has been my absolute favorite, but I still need to try some more before cementing it as the best Taco. Service is great, they are friendly and helpful when you are unsure of what to order. You can watch him make them while you wait, so you know they are freshly prepared. It is going to be hard for me not to go to Carter's Table the next day I drive downtown for lunch, and that is saying something with the amount of great food in Happy Valley.

Hidden gem in downtown State College! Truly some of the best tacos I’ve ever had. Friendly and fast service, casual atmosphere. Highly recommend the Chili Lime, Buffalo Chicken, and Thai tacos!

I went to Carter's Table tonight for my first time after hearing (and reading) so many great reviews! I said it was my first time and the three girls behind the counter could not have been nicer offering their feedback and suggestions! I appreciate that. I went with the "flight" as they suggested (3 different tacos) and ordered the shrimp, buffalo chicken, and beef (gringo?) I found the shrimp and the buffalo chicken to be too salty for my taste but absolutely adored the beef. The ingredients are fresh, plentiful and adorned with lovely sauces. I didn't even need to bring home extra sauces. Thanks so much, I will most definitely be back!

Best tacos we tried in State college. Variation from regular ingredients with delicious spice combinations are the uniqueness of this place. Cajun shrimp is a must try item. Beef taco is super delicious as well.

I've been enjoying Shawn's tacos ever since coming across his stand at the downtown farmers market. If you didn't get there right after opening, a line would snake around the corner into Calder Way. The scent of grilled, perfectly seasoned meats would make anyone's mouth water. He continues to serve up some of The Best Food in town at his brick & mortar place. Everything is prepared with care - the lightly charred tortillas, the fresh slaws, the flavorful meats, the perfectly plump shrimp for his Cajun shrimp tacos or occasional house special, shrimp & grits. His homemade hot sauces provide the perfect finish, with the hot berry sauce being my absolute favorite: tart & a really nice kick.

Carter's Table is great! We have been here twice and both times the food was amazing! Great customer service, and the staff is great! Its so clear the owner is invested in the quality and taste of the food. The perfect welcoming atmosphere! Love Carters Table!
