Everything was perfect during our one-night stay, from check-in to check-out. Our room was quiet and comfortable, with all the necessities and niceties one could hope for. Susan prepared a delicious and hearty breakfast consisting of a variety of creative courses tailored to my dietary requirements.

While apartment searching my employer put me up at Carson’s for 5 nights. Susan is a welcoming pleasant host and I cannot rave enough about her cooking! The house itself is gorgeous and Susan has had cultivated a warm, relaxing environment with her keen eye for detail. I would absolutely recommend to anyone and everyone I know.

Would highly recommend staying at this B&B if you’re visiting the Pioneer Valley. The service was excellent and the room comfortable and well-furnished. We stayed for two nights and enjoyed two very lavish breakfasts. They were definitely worth getting out of bed for. It rained heavily both days, preventing us from sitting out in the garden, but we’ll be sure to take advantage of it next time we visit. (As a bonus, South Hadley’s village commons has several nice restaurants, a movie theater, and a bookstore to explore; the B&B is right by Mount Holyoke’s picturesque campus.)

We stayed at Carson’s B&B for two evenings to attend a family gathering. The rooms were so comfortable and any amenity that you could want was provided with your comfort in mind. The evening before our arrival Susan reached out to ask what our expected arrival time would be and if there were any food allergies in preparation for the absolutely spectacular 4 course breakfast served on the porch. Susan is a wonderful host and she presents her home and breakfast with artistry! We are looking forward to staying with her again.

Me and my mom came to S Hadley for a baby shower choosing to stay at this bed and breakfast we were pleasantly surprised. This is one of the most relaxing places I have ever stayed. Susan was an amazing hostess and cook! Susan was warm , welcoming and wonderful from the moment I called to reserve the room. The room and house were beautiful and spotless! Thanks for giving us a safe place to unwind.

I never write Google reviews, but felt compelled to write one for Susan and her B&B. My husband and I stayed at Carson’s Bed and Breakfast this weekend and it was such a lovely experience. The room was cozy and the bed was so comfortable. Susan had everything we needed, every amenity and was so attentive. Every morning she set up breakfast in the garden. It was so peaceful and serene and such a great way to start the morning. She made the most delicious two course breakfasts I’ve had in a while. The decor was stunning and the experience was magical. The B&B is also located in a great location - lots to walk to in the area. I highly recommend staying if you’re in the area, we will be back. Thank you so much Susan!

My wife and I stayed a week while vacationing in the Pioneer Valley. Susan was the most gracious and accommodating host. Her three course breakfasts were delicious and a highlight of the trip. We didn't eat lunch all week! She served in her charming back yard to allay COVID concerns. Each room was charming and had an additional "sitting room" besides. When guests who arrived before us left, she kindly moved us into their larger room; at her suggestion! She kept us informed about weather predictions and made helpful suggestions about dining and local sites. The location made for an easy drive throughout the Connecticut River Valley and Mohawk Valley. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience!

We had a wonderful time at Carson's Bed and Breakfast for a long weekend visit! Susan, the innkeeper, is really kind and her hospitality was truly above and beyond. And her breakfasts were just outstanding! We looked forward to them every morning. The house itself is beautifully decorated and has a lot of design features original to its construction nearly 200 years ago. The room was extremely comfortable, with lots of nice touches and thoughtful amenities. The location was also very convenient - walking distance to shops and restaurants in South Hadley, and the Mount Holyoke college campus. Also an easy drive to Amherst, Northampton, hikes, and other attractions. Highly recommend staying here!
