Cars on the Route - Tourist attraction in Galena - Kan-O-Tex Service Station, 119 N Main St, USA

My 50th birthday I wanted see Route 66. So we were only able to see the Kansas side. I loved 😍 it.

One of the landmark locations onto the Route66. If you like the Cars movie, then its one of the places to visit. There's a board that showcases that mater character being inspired by a old tow truck. There's couple of other landmarks related to Route 66 nearby Would say one of the quite and simple places i have visited ,recommended while in area.

We are RT 66 fans and really enjoyed seeing all the cars in Galena! Very small town without much to do, but well worth a drive through to look! When we arrived, the actual Cars on the Route store looked permanently closed, but you can still see all the cars on the outside.

Closed when I went by but still worth stopping to see the cars parked outside. Great photo ops.

I have a grandson who is obsessed with the Cars movies. He loved seeing Mater. It is a cute place that you can get some good pictures.

We visited this attraction the begging of May, 2023. It was fun to check out the Cars cars. Unfortunately, they were not open when we were there. So we looked around and took some pictures. Then we continued on. But this is one of those attractions that is worth visiting, whether they are open of not.

I'm only taking a star away because I feel the hours are so weird and have missed going in twice. The cars were still super fun. Having a kid who is obsessed with cars, it was a definent stop!
