Carriage Motor Inn - Featured Reviews (103)
So here's the deal. I was an actual tenant at the Carriage Motor Inn, residing there for about 7 months (April 2023-November 2023. On 11/09/2023 JC (owner) illegally evicted us without any court notice...he entered our room and bagged up our personal belongings in trash bags and put them out on sidewalk. He changed our room door locks & refused to let us back in. He even went as far as trying to hold on to some of our belongings and attempted to throw some of our belongings away. It's a run down motel and the owner thinks he can dictate certain things really has no business ethics or morals. Him and his wife are constantly arguing. But rest assured JC, the Civil Complaint is in the works.

It is ok were it is located about one or two stars
It has improved so much. Bed was comfortable. Shower was fabulous. I slept like a rock. I thought the staff was nice. I did not see one bug.
Everything about this place is bad. Its drug infested and roach and rat infested. The owners our against people with disabilities that needs their emotional and support service animals. Not pet friendly at all. Very disappointing and very discriminated by these owners. Everything on this place is old and falling apart. I wish I knew a lawyer who can help me with this pet discrimination. 😫 I wish I never spent a dime here. Smh I really hope they close this place down for good.
Definitely crack or something being sold outta there. Definitely roaches. Couldn't stand the guy owner everyday asking "what room number??!" Like I didnt pay or something. We had the same room for 3 weeks. First time we stayed no microwave so we left for a diff place. Came back microwave there. No phone as advertised. Will not accept partial payment for weekly stay(as in pay half at start and half in the middle of stay due to paycheck) so yea. Dont go. Riviera across the st same nightly rate at least and much cleaner/no drugs.
Didn't see any roaches but this place is literally infested with mice. We were living here for about two months because we're homeless and, no exaggeration, killed probably 30 mice our entire stay, sometimes 2 a night. They live in the vents and you can hear them scurring around at all hours of the night. The maids don't clean. Our room had whoever's Chinese noodles smashed into the carpet. She didn't even bother cleaning under the bed at all. She was cleaning the room that we had when we were given the keys and she actually asked me to vacuum the room for her lol. They wont turn the heat on. We wore our coats to bed because it was freezing, colder than outside even. Crack heads and dealers all around but you're gonna get that at any hotel in the area. The male owner doesn't speak English and has dementia or something to where he can't remember the people who stay there, even though we had been there two months. He'll blow a rape whistle at you every time you enter the gate and start yelling gibberish. We stayed because they let us pay around 5pm every day after staying there every day for a week. For the price, its ridiculous. Go to a Motel 6 instead. They're a lot nicer now and its the same price.
This place is absolutely horrible crackheads everywhere I pull up and was immediately approached multiple time. for crack I get into my room and it is really disgusting had to clean my room showers are absolutely gross kitchen is filthy knocking on my door all night people walking and standing right outside my door all night bed bugs and roaches were visible the first night I wouldn't wish this place upon my worst enemy if I could score a zero star I would I hope this place health inspection soon and get shut down.
Excellent dog park for fur babies to have some off-leash fun time! It has trails, water, sand beach, native landscape set in a mountain range backdrop. The only con would probably be the entry price, it is $11 for the state park (the dog park is pa
The parking lot was a bit shady, but the place was amazing. Food comes in large portions -- they were really good but we could only finish half of what we ordered. The spicy soup was my favorite, but the curry was great too. Their service was top-not
1st time checking out Parkside Eatery & Taco Choi. Very tasty however I think it would improve the appearance and food if each taco had its own unique sauce and or toppings to give it more flair and flavor.
This Nature Center is completely FREE! It has so many displays, interactive toys, nature books, and live animals (snake, turtle, and a lizard!) It is so wonderful!!!!
If you are wanting to enjoy the inside portion of the center (and let me tell you,
Absolutely amazing cuisine. The meat was cooked extremely well and the sides were very delicious. My wife had the steak and it was cooked to perfection and she truly enjoyed it. We also had the break for the appetizer and it was great. I suggest
