Carriage House Resort Motel - Motel in Deerfield Beach - 250 SE 20th Ave, USA

We had a nice little weekend getaway here. We stayed in a 1 bedroom-living room pullout sofa in the living room nice stocked kitchen with everything you need to eat and cook with. The grounds were clean. Pool was very nice water temp just right. Not even a block from the beach a very easy walk. We arrived late Friday so the keys were left for us. It was a very relaxing stay we will definitely be back

We stayed 3 nights (4/12-15/2024) and our stay was enjoyable. Mom and Pops type of hotel/motel 1 block away from the beautiful Deerfield beach which was all worth it. I have no complaints. Nothing fancy but our 2 queen bed kitchenette was very clean, beds were comfy and AC worked well and everything in the kitchen was functional. Small ice machine near the front desk office always had ice. Nice quiet area around hotel. I did not see any bugs as everything was clean and ready when we arrived at around 6:30pm our flight was delayed. Walk to restaurants towards the right of hotel about 3 blocks (the Pizza restaurant was the best and ice cream shop on the same block). If you plan on arriving after 8pm you must call hotel and make arrangements and they are very accommodating. Beach chair and umbrellas rental right as you enter the beach. $60.00 per day for 2 chairs and umbrella from 9am to 6pm. If you rent in advance for more than two days you get a discount in price. The hotel is a gem.

We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a room with a kitchenette (I'm not sure if all of the rooms have that). It had everything you could want (except a K-cup maker). It is quaint, but modern. The property and rooms are clean and well maintained - on par with larger hotels for sure but more friendly.

Bottom line up front: we spent two sleepless nights roasting in an 85-degree room because the air conditioning was broken. Notably, the front office has an a/c unit that’s working just fine. When we first reported the issue to the front desk and asked if we could have a fan to at least move the air around, they promised to have someone look into the problem and have the a/c repaired by the time we returned for the evening. We returned to a steaming hot room with no fan. When we brought this up with the desk clerk at checkout the next morning, she said everyone is complaining about it and they weren’t able to fix the problem when it started the day before. When I asked if they would offer some kind of discount since we had been unable to get a decent night of sleep, she literally laughed in my face and said she didn’t have that power. I wish that I could give this property more stars, because at first, we were charmed by the classic beachside motel. The motel is a short walk to the beach (they lend you beach/pool towels to take) and an easy walk to loads of restaurants. But the lack of a/c and the unwillingness to make sure guests were comfortable — or compensated for the inconvenience while they had the issue — turned what could have been a glowing review into a warning to potential guests.

The place is a deal for the price. Is a Family own motel that have all you might need. Clean and simple. A good option if what you want is to spend your days at the beach.

Very bad experience I had when I arrive to the motel and do my check in. I have a reservation confirmation from Expedia for the days I’m staying. When I got to the motel they said my reservation it was for Monday. I show her the confirmation and she keeps saying was for Monday. I called Expedia and complained and Expedia found out the motel overbooked and my reservation was moved to Monday without contacted me to let me know. Horrible experience special when you are out of town. Thanks God Expedia accommodate in a very nice Resort without paying nothing. Make sure you check your reservation a few day before so you don’t get the same bad experience. Horrible!!!

It was close to the beach which was nice, the pool was amazing and the rooms were well decorated. But one of the rooms had black mold in and coming off the shower, and my room had a few bugs that liked to bite.
