A tranquil and beautiful place, with a few maple trees turning red by the lakeside. There are also some tables and chairs for a picnic, perfect for a moment of pause.
The only issue is those portable toilets can get kinda gross sometimes.
One of Hot Springs nicest parks and boat launch.
There's a construction crew working on the bridge and evidently they do not have the required net blow their workspace and as you can see in the pictures a lot of garbage is in the water now. Somebody needs to correct this quickly before it gets any worse. I noticed a film on the water as well as floating cups and trash. This infuriates me more than anything in this world.
This is our home town and our park.
Hope the construction workers get the netting needed to stop all trash from being dropped in our beautiful water ways.....😡
Carpenter Dam Park is a very nice, quiet, relaxing park to spend time. It is a very good fishing area, there is a boat ramp, and some picnic tables. Unfortunately, there are portapotties down there, but some actual park bathrooms right up the hill at Entergy Park. Many people consider them the same park, because they're right next to each other. The water is pretty low this time of year, but is usually up at a very nice level the rest of the year. So, if you notice that in the pictures, it usually never looks like that except during the mid-end of winter.
A fairly nice spot. I didn't spend long there, but I would like to do some more exploring around the area. I always enjoy a nice walk in the park, just to look around, get some light exercise, vitamin D, and fresh air! I think most all Corps of Engineer parks, State, and National Parks deserve a visit at least once. 😃
We saw a bald eagle while we were there! Fun place to picnic or go fishing.
The location is tranquil and beautiful; however, the undertow and rip current make fishing a nightmare.
Loved going to the dam, probably one of the best highlights of my trip!!
One of the best parks in the USA for cold plunging, cooling off, sunbathing, yoga, nature worship, & seclusion..... Has picnic table.... Not good for fishing or swimming....... Water is super cold & there alot of grass to sit on..... Watch out for the chiggers in the month of June & if the grass hasn't been mowed....Please pick up after your dog........

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Reserve at Hot Springs. The house was absolutely stunning. If you're a fan of historical homes, do not miss out on this one! I loved the original features of the home, from the grand staircase and transom windows
Quick, easy, no traffic, 15 minute parking right by.
The water is hot so be careful. Like hurts hot. Especially in the summer. We filled our jug and just let it cool.
The water is flavorless, didnât have any issues with it.
OMG this was so much fun, I am glad we were able to make it in.
Robots and theme are so cute and it was great fun to watch them and listen to their dialogue.
Waffles on a stick are AMAZING and the ones with ice cream are AWESOME too, I loved both i
