Our daughter booked this wonderful B&B while we were in town to visit her for Christmas. The holiday decor set the mood for a magical atmosphere, our room even boasted a Christmas tree! Everything was extremely clean and luxuriously decorated. The delicious breakfasts were fit for royalty being served with china, crystal & linen napkins. The room felt like home and the bed was comfortable. Caroline is an amazing hostess, telling us about local festivities & info. There’s also a small library room that guests are welcome to use. Nothing is spared to make the guest feel welcome and comfortable.

If we could leave more than 5 stars we would! Caroline's B & B was an exceptional home away from home. My husband and I had the pleasure of staying here for 4 nights in the presidential suite over the holiday this year. Carol and Jerry were the most gracious hosts. Our room was decorated beautifully as was the entire property in daily decor and Christmas decorations. Our suite was equipped with everything we could possibly need.There were drinks, snacks, comfortable furnishings, robes and umbrellas (which we needed). There was even a rubber hot mat for my flat iron! They had thought of everything. Let's not forget the delectable gourmet breakfasts. We couldn't wait to see what Carol was going to make each morning. Our son and his lovely fiancé moved to Summerville this past year so we will be coming here for many more visits and we don't need to look any further than Caroline's B & B for a place to stay!

When my wife & I arrived for our 3-night stay at Caroline's B&B on the first weekend of November, the owners were already well into decorating their gorgeous property for the Christmas season. The garlands & ribbons & lights and related seasonal decorations outside & in only enhanced our first welcome to Summerville (in a wintry sorta way). Carol and Jerry clearly work hard to maintain an attractive & comfortable home for sharing with their guests year-round, as well as supporting the Summerville community & its efforts to draw well deserved tourism to the area. The house's interior spaces are well furnished & pleasingly decorated & invitingly comfortable, while the exterior maintenance & landscaping & features - front & back (don't miss the rear tiki patio & adjacent garden & outdoor covered seating area with wood-burning fireplace) - are among the best we've encountered over nearly 50 B&B property visits across North America.||Our stay in The Gardens Room on the 2nd floor was very quiet & relaxing, with every amenity we needed for a memorable visit (including "The Nook" off the 2nd floor guest rooms hallway with refreshments & reading material & tourism brochures). The breakfasts prepared & served by Carol in the beautiful 1st floor dining room were presented elegantly with daily variety and very good flavor using high quality ingredients. We were well fed & made to feel like valued guests throughout our stay, and our overall level of satisfaction was deserving of more than just the 5 Bubbles available to this review. My wife & I are already discussing our future return options, and we will be recommending Caroline's B&B to anyone we know looking for a quiet South Carolina Lowcountry getaway.

Second opportunity to stay at Caroline’s. Wonderful B&B. Carol makes us feel so welcome. Breakfast is a treat. She showed us some of the other rooms and they looked great too. Location is good for walking and convenience to old town.

Carol and Jerry were impeccable hosts. The room was clean and comfortable with all the amenities that we could ever ask for. I can not say enough wonderful things about Mrs. Carol and Mr. Jerry. We stayed in the cottage behind the bnb for a month with our children and loved every minute of being there. The cottage is beautifully decorated and you can tell Mrs. Carol put a lot of thought into the little details to make sure your stay is an amazing experience. The beds are soooo comfortable, I wanted to take them home with me and miss them to this day. My children loved having their own apartment upstairs with their own little refrigerators. My daughter also loved petting Mrs. Carols sweet yorkies and sitting outside admiring the beautiful flowers. Make sure you ask Mr. Jerry for his restaurant recommendations while your staying, i promise he will not let you down. If you are ever in Summerville this is the only place you should be staying. You will be so glad you booked your stay with Caroline's Bed and Breakfast. Thank you Mrs. Carol and Mr. Jerry for having us, we hope to see again in the soon.

My husband and I stayed at Caroline’s B&B for three nights. It was an amazing experience. She is a wonderful host along with her husband. They made our stay unforgettable. I would recommend anyone staying in the Somerville area to stay there. She definitely goes above and beyond in all aspects! Whenever we’re in the Somerville area, we will be staying with her for sure. Her breakfasts are remarkable.

This is a true bed-and-breakfast. Their breakfast is phenomenal. Their B&B is spotless. The innkeepers couldn’t be more engaged in with their guests. this is my second visit and there will be a third shortly. I would stay nowhere else the accommodations are five star plus.
