Went for the skating. It's nice to have skating in the South but, I wish there was a better explanation that it's not real ice, it's plastic with a slippery coating. It will seep into your clothes if you're a clumsy kid who falls on his knees a lot. The skates were in very good condition and the unlimited skating for $5 was extra nice. The area is merry and bright and well maintained.

Lovely little park right in the heart of downtown Anderson, SC. This spot is gorgeous for photo opportunities as well as a perfect wedding or event venue (which they do rent the space out in 3 different sections).
The splash pad is so much fun for kids. There are only a couple areas with shade so I bring a blanket to sit on the grass and move around with the shade. There are a ton of restaurants on this block, you can get food to go and have a picnic while kids play.
It's great how this little nook has been built into the space off of main street - spreading the development and attractiveness of the surrounding area, as well. Apart from music performances, they also have a make-shift skating ring setup and it is kept very well maintained and clean
Yeah, it’s a fun place to go on Thursday night when they have the bands. Bring a chair and enjoy watching people dance and have a good time. You’re great for the family.
Nice, quiet, area, very peaceful. Cool to have some green in the downtown. I have changed my opinion on this park as time has went. It has grown on me. Anderson County does a good job at keeping it up and adding things to attract people.
Beautiful place. Not sure why the splash pad isn’t on right now for summer. Nice place to walk and sit; night feature light on the large fountain wall is great ambiance. Sweet tribute to the late Chadwick Boseman with artwork displaying him and his many films.
