Carolina Resort Motel - Motel in Old Orchard Beach - 1 Roussin St, USA

Location of this hotel is awesome. Staff was friendly. As far as the room goes, horrible. The beds are like sleeping on the floor. Thank goodness we brought our own pillows. The sink was left with food or something in it. Freezer had ice cream which melted and had a paper plate. The bathroom light, one was out. The dining area light only had 1 bulb working. The toilet paper holder wasn't put on the wall. The windows barely open. The water in shower doesn't get hot enough and has poor water pressure. The pros to the hotel is easy access to the beach, and the activities at the pier area, the floor looks like it was recently done. Overall I would not recommend this motel. For $729.00 for two nights was no where near what we expected.

Un motel magnifiquement situé à moins d'un kilomètre du Pier et à 58 secondes de la plage. Petite cuisinette (poêle, frigo, micro-ondes et accessoires) propre. Chambres très propre. Personnel très courtois. Voisins d'un petit bar qui ferme tôt et qui évite le bruit. Je vous recommande ce motel, car nous allons y retourner l'an prochain.

Got charged for drinks that were never in our fridge to begin with. Our fridge was empty when we got to our room and my husband and I didn’t even drink alcohol on the trip. They were very nice at the front desk while we were there but unfortunately the charge didn’t go through until the day after we checked out. When I called I was told they would fix it, but was only got back like $44 of the $100 they take when you check in. Can’t beat the location, but disappointed in the room. The light above our table has only 1 light bulb and didn’t even work.

This motel has a lot to offer!! You cannot beat the location, juat steps to the beach!! The pool was great, clean and cool!! We spent 2 nights here for the 4th of July and were very happy with our stay. The staff is excellent, ready to take care of any concern or need. Lauren at the front desk was more than helpful and friendly when we checked in. We were able to get a front row parking spot right next to the beach. The rooms are a bit dated, but the floor and shower were brand new. My husband and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay, it was fantastic to only have to walk 5-10 minutes to the pier!!

La mer est magnifique. Un bon hôtel si la mer est la priorité. Surtout la chambre la plus en avant vu sur la mer. En bas c'est mieux il y a un balcon couvert. Parfait pour manger dehors avec le bruit des vagues. L'hôtel est un peu vieux mais propre. Apportez un balais et des ustensiles de cuisine pour le bbq. C'est tout je le recommande.

L'hotel la plus propre que j'ai eu au courant de mon séjour! Je suis une grande voyageuse et j'ai vu beaucoup d'hôtel mal propre ou encore, pas comme les photos. Celle-ci était identique au photo. J'ai solo et je me sentais bien en sécurité. Le seul point négatifs que je pourrais dire est qu'il n'y avait pas de savon pour le corps ou encore de poubelle?

If you are looking for luxury, this isn’t the place for you. But if you are looking for a spot to lay your head in a prime location, look no further. The staff was great and always reachable, and the rooms are not bad, just need some updating, but they are comparable to 90% of the motels in Old Orchard. Realistically you are paying for the location. We are splurging for the oceanfront balcony room this year which gives you a private balcony and a BEAUTIFUL view. You are steps from the beach and maybe a 10 minute walk to the pier and a small little restaurant/bar literally nextdoor. Our only complaint and biggest downfall that we hope is better for our upcoming trip this year, was the cloudiness of the pool, as we have young kids that love the beach and love to swim, but hate the ocean so the pool was a huge selling point when booking and although they still swam, it was a little disappointing. We had a ton of rain last year that I understand probably played a part in the upkeep of the pool, but I am hoping they prioritize it a little more this summer. Don’t let the bad reviews deter you if you are just looking for a fun beach getaway, just go there with an open mind and remember that you’re not going there to sit in your room all day!

This hotel is nothing like the pictures of the rooms. Rooms smell, are dirty. I had blood stains on sheets and comforter. Toothpaste still in sink and mold in coffee pot. Fridge couldn’t keep water bottles cold, “stove” was a rusted 2 burner hot plate that we didn’t dare turn on. No end tables, chairs stacked in so called closet. Lights missing shades and best part, if you want to watch tv you have to log into your home streaming services aka, Netflix, Disney and Hulu.
