Carolina Lodge - Hotel in Barnwell - 10645 Dunbarton Blvd, USA

Terrible experience! So the rates were cheaper online but the gentleman up front said that we could no longer book online. So i just needed the room for one night so I just paid the price because i had a migraine from the festival. He placed us in one room and and only gave me and my guest two rags and two towels and one set was filthy as if it was already used. After i had taking a shower, I asked for more towels for the next day they told us that they had placed us in the wrong room and no we could not have anymore. I asked for a refund they told me that since I had been in the room for more than 10 mins that I could not. I asked was that in their policy, he stated that it was online. I looked and it wasn't. They finally said yes to more towels and I asked them where was it stated online then proceeds to say that it was listed on the door. The room looked like it was still under construction . The towels were still looked unwashed we had to buy more and that morning we were rushed out. I do not recommend even if it was the only room in town. Ask to view the room before purchase!

Carolina Lodge is the best option for lodging in Barnwell SC. The rooms are kept clean and comfortable despite having a little age on them. The nearby competitors are more expensive and don't provide any better rooms or amenities. The service is excellent with the staff being friendly and attentive. The location is key, convenient to pretty much everything in Barnwell including shopping and dining. When visiting Barnwell stay at Carolina Lodge for the best value for your money.

Nice rooms. Nice people but the location is pretty bad. Nobody would choose this hotel by driving by. I chose it off the internet because there is fast food nearby. They do offer clean rooms. Hot Water, Strong internet, a Huddle House right next door. It is in the middle of town so it's close to store and fast food. It's off an auxiliary road right next to the main road but the road is loaded with potholes and the road itself needs some serious work.

This hotel is always cozy and affordable. Sammy is a great host and will ensure that your stay is memorable and enjoyable. The rooms are clean and it's a convenient location (right next to the Huddle House restaurant).

Owners are very helpful and friendly. Rooms are recently refreshed and clean. Will definitely stay there again. Close to many restaurants and Wal-Mart. Great place to stay if you are doing any training at GTI.

Rooms were somewhat dirty. Heavily stained linens. The website claims free breakfast every morning at 6:30 but I had go next door and buy food because the lobby was locked. The only real upside here is price. When I went to check out, the clerk had incense burning in the tiny lobby. It was absolutely choking. And I’m not a very fragile individual. The clerk seemed to think it was amusing. I’ll stay an hour away and drive into town before I stay there again.

My sister and I with our three kids ages 7, 8, and 5 book a room from 2/7-2-11 weekend to visit our grand mother who was dying. We were turned away because we had three kids. We were told the policy 2 adults and 2 kids per room. Terrible customer services
