We’ve given this restaurant three chances in the past 7 years and it continues to disappoint. We are done here. Dirty bathrooms, physical property in disarray, dirty and cluttered. Service is always meh. Waitresses not going to Win the “Miss. Congeniality” title. Food adequate, and not as bad as A&J but not better than Alison’s . After all, How can you screw up a salad huh. No need for further punishment.

I ordered food for 25 people from a funeral. We went over the order 3 times when I called. My order was wrong. When I called to inquire about it. I was told my order was correct and I was wrong. The attitude of the person on the phone was totally unexceptionable. While the food was good there customer service is not. I was told I will show you, you are wrong. I didn't ask for a refund or replacement. I said my order was wrong and if I had left something. I will never use your services again. We all make mistakes but the attitude I got was uncalled for. I paid over $300.00 for my order. Didn't ask for anything free or complain about the price. I was treated in a very disrespectful way. I will never use your services again.

My last time there, the person who took my phone order was very nice ... and even nicer in person. But the food left A LOT to the imagination ... the baked mac and cheese was very tasteless, like water ... and no amount of salt and pepper helped ... my baked beans were thrown all over my plate, literally had beans in every compartment. Wouldn't go back for the food but the service was nice.

Food was pretty good but not nearly the best I've ever had. Sauces were good but not, "Give me some more of that!" good. Small inside eating area not really set up for a big group. Good place to grab a bite of lunch if you are in town and want BBQ. The hushpuppies were really good.

Have eaten at Carolina many many times, and this is by far the worst BBQ I've eaten anywhere. Had a pork plate with fries, slaw, and 2 wings. The slaw and wings were the only things good. I know BBQ can be fatty, but my lips and mouth still have a grease film from how greasy the BBQ was. Waitress was spot on, but the kitchen is another story. Hate to say it, but I've had better gas station BBQ. Fries were cold and old, no seasoning at all. Attached pick is the amount of fatty grease in the pulled pork. So for $11, I had 2 wings and slaw. Hope it just an off day.

First time here. I ordered a full slab of rib and a whole chicken. It was flavorful however the meat on the ribs were dry and hard.

The ambiance was terrific, awesome decore for a BBQ stop. The food was also really good. We had a new server so it was a little slower than I'd expect. Otherwise I absolutely recommend this place!

It's the best. And very good prices. I love pulled pork and they do it better than any other BBQ hut in the upstate
