This restaurant is adorable and offers great service. We thoroughly enjoyed the guacamole and street corn. The fish was incredibly flavorful and fresh. Additionally, the parking is available on the roof.” I made the necessary grammar corrections and rephrased the sentences for clarity.
Delicious food and great service! I ordered the asada bowl and my husband ordered pollo burrito. The asada was such high quality and flavorful, and the other many ingredients in the bowl were so fresh and tasty. I especially loved the guacamole! My husband liked his burrito but wish it had more chicken than it did. We ate outside on the patio and enjoyed that too. The prices seemed a bit high for a quick serve restaurant but the food was great.
Visited for happy hour. Short rib flautas were delicious. $12 Cadillac Margaritas also nice.
Awesome experience, food was great. Biggest burrito I've eaten in a long time, I barely finished it!
So so good! We needed a good Mexican restaurant. Margaritas address delicious and everything I’ve tried has been superb! Chicken nachos, steak tacos, beef flautas, little casita salad. All so good. It has a cool ambiance too! Glad they’re in Dana Point now!
Stumbled on this place by accident and I think it was destiny. Knew it would be good when the chips and salsas came out. I would have been happy if it stopped there. I ate way too many chips! I ordered the California omelette and hubby got the short rib Benedict. My omelette was amazing. The avo was super creamy and don’t get me started on the bacon. Service was fantastic too. I wish they would have forgotten about refilling the chips, but hey, what are you gonna do? Hubby said the Benedict was really good too. Definitely try this place. You won’t be disappointed.
So this was my 3rd time coming here in the last month. Each time I got take out and each time I ordered a chicken burrito bowl and each time it was the best bowl I've ever had. The overall proportion is great and filling and the individual proportions of each ingredient are perfect. The flavor of each one is perfect. I'm planning on coming back on Wednesday with my wife to eat here and try the drinks.
tl;dr: takeout order took over an hour past it was supposed to be ready, and staff was rude. Ordered online for takeout as I've done a lot in the past. Saw a 6:20 estimate for the order being ready which with an order completed at 6:05 I thought was probably inaccurate. Held back on arriving until 6:45 to pick up my order. Showed up and went inside to pickup at the only place there seemed to be to do that. Never got acknowledged for 10 minutes despite staff passing by me constantly; in some cases pushing me aside despite standing as far away from the main path as I could. Got asked my name and after replying got no further comments after that as the person that asked just disappeared. Found out that there were four other people that were also waiting on pickup orders that barely got acknowledged, and another party waiting for dine-in that had not been acknowledged for at least 15 minutes. All the staff seemed to do their best to completely ignore all of us as I waited over the course of ANOTHER HOUR PAST MY ARRIVAL (WHICH WAS 15 MINUTES AFTER IT WAS SUPPOSED TO BE READY) to pick up my food. Literally everyone that was waiting, including people that got sat at tables received food before I did. Finally 75 minutes after my order was due I was asked my name and when I did had a bag of food shoved at me with no apology or acknowledgement of how late the order was. I love the food from here and as a Dana Point local have ordered many times in the past, but was never treated the way I was tonight. I tried to contact them directly over this, but their website is broken and the "Feedback" link simply links directly to their main site with no form or e-mail address. I am incredibly frustrated with Carmelita's and how I was treated.

Great little hidden gem in Dana Point, we had the pleasure to meet the owner Mercedes, this time we sat inside and we were able to learn about the history of the restaurant, family owned for over three decades, great food with authentic cuisine and f
I first came to El Torito Dana Point last November, for Thanksgiving Dinner. That was a BLAST. The food and service were so good, and the vibe was so chill n fun, we HAD to return*. We came by for Taco Tuesday, and the Sunset View. While we did
Great place for a couple good pints. Three of us visited and tried a blonde, and IPA, a fruited sour and an imperial stout. We liked them all. Great flavor on the imperial stout!
Great place for a walk with some areas for viewing the ocean side. The walking trail at this park is a switchback and very relaxing. The grass areas are a slope but can be walked on for some serious decline/incline workout. I saw some people being th
Awesome views! Itâs a great place to take a stroll, learn a little California history, sit on one of the benches and take in views of the harbor and marina below, or watch the sunset. Located in the Lantern District of Dana Point, in a residential
Great place for the family. Walk along the marina, have lunch or ice cream! You can go kayaking, stand up paddle boarding or whale watching! Visit the Ocean Institute, learn about the tall ships docked at the learning center. Or just watch the waves
The coaches at this studio (Alex, Courtney, Emma) are amazing and while itâs still a group class, they still take the time to walk the room and pay attention to make sure everyone is following the correct posture during the workout and doing it cor
Wonder nature reserve to check out. Everything is very natural. The atmosphere was very calm and collective. I love how they are trying to protect all of the amazing wildlife that surrounds Dana point. Snakes, birds, and mice all inhabit the area, a
