Overall very happy especially for the price and location. I do agree that it's an older hotel but that made me feel okay coming back into the room with sandy feet, mattress isn't 5 stars but at least it was a proper king since we have 2 dogs (been lied to a handful of times in the past few years and it makes a difference!) checkout was very nice process as I'm always running 15 minutes behind and they didn't rush us. we had a fridge but no microwave or coffee maker which I should have checked. Overall it's perfect for what we wanted, they're dog friendly which is super rare and it was very quiet and we didn't have trouble with parking even though it's very close to the beach. Price was about $200 a night for the first week of August 5 blocks from the beach in a king ocean view room so that and the kindness for the dogs and at check out gets 5 stars.
This is a nice, quiet Inn. It is not far from Ocean Ave or the beach, but nothing really is when you stay in Carmel-by the - Sea. The people at the front desk were polite and checked me in with ease, but they did not do much more than that, so average, in my opinion. The rooms are a little dated, and the bedding was not all that comfortable. Again, it's not bad for what we paid, but it could be better. It would also have been nice to have mirlcrowaves and a coffee machine in the room.
Don’t expect a 5 star hotel in Carmel at this price - what we got was a comfortable family suite (one king and twin beds in a separate room) with a private bathroom. Basic but perfect for one night and a great location. Yes it’s slightly run down, no idea why it says it’s English themed, limited on site parking but free in street, unrestricted parking 3 mins away. Fine for an overnight
We’ve stayed here several times now and we love it. It’s a cozy and clean. Every room we get has been slightly different. You do get a better view when staying on the second level but we don’t mind being on first or second level. They are dog friendly which is a plus because we bring our two dogs with us on every visit. The price is not bad too.
Loved this cute little INN. My partner had booked the spot as a surprise for my birthday and I was in love. The exterior has a lot of character and nice courtyard with fireplace and the interior of the rooms are up to date and clean. We had a lovely view of the ocean from our room. I cannot wait to go back.
Highly recommend! Super lovely staff, very spacious rooms and a really good spot in town. Not in the hustle and bustle of the shops and restaurants, but close enough to walk in and to still be in a quiet area.
I booked this specifically because the room has a fireplace and I thought it would be nice and romantic. This was for my guy's 50th birthday so it was a special day. The fireplace did not work. I was so disappointed. There was a leak with a constant drip on the bathroom ceiling and we had to put a towel down so we wouldn't slip. No basics like coffee or a microwave, which I could have double checked on that before booking but still. I will not be booking here again.
A no-thrills inn, budget friendly, basic amenities, GREAT location. Dogs welcome. ||Location is 2-3 blocks from the main strip of Carmel. Easy access to restaurants and shops but in a quiet neighborhood off the main area. ||We stayed in room #8 (king room + 2 twins). No microwave, mini fridge, small table with 2 chairs and 1 desk with chair. Little A/C unit cooled the room down quickly. Found a spider + spider website and some of the shutters were broken but didn't bother us. ||If you want a basic, budget friendly, clean space to sleep with a dog this is probably the cheapest around.
Sophisticated and cool with unusual, unique, quality merchandise. Several lines are Italy direct exclusives. I went in to purchase their vegetarian make up (no chemicals) and the soy based nail colors but found so much more. There are gift items for
My favorite beach on the California coast! I prefer it in the winter when it's less crowded. There's always, always, people on it though. Beautiful waves, soft sand, lots of space to walk at low tide. It's a great place to bring your dog but be aware
Multiple members of my family are frequent visitors to Carmel and always stop in to your shop! We love the customer service and cannot leave without finding a new sweatshirt or beanie or awesome tee shirts! We recommend it to any friends coming to to
This place is located inside the Point lobos state natural reserve, Bird island trail. It was an easy trail.
Entry Fee was $10 per vehicle. Parking and restrooms were available at the beginning of the trail. But parking was little bit challenging ev
Really perfect place for kids to play. The water is warm and clean, and there are a lot of pelicans resting in the river. Besides, you may explore the sea creatures in the rock such as crabs, hermit crab, fish, and sea ââurchin. You can also rela
