Excellent pizza with fantastic fennel sausage and friendly service. Enjoyable craft beer on tap and a relaxed atmosphere.

Good place, but not one I'd necessarily return to on purpose. Had a fine time here. It was rather loud at dinner time and the atmosphere is dark brown wood. If the place is full, you will not be using your inside voice. However, after a beer or four, you probably won't notice or care. We ordered the cheese and sausage platter, a Carlyle brat and meatball sandwich. I don't think there is a grill here as nothing had char lines on it, although the brat was tasty. Almost had a hot dog like quality without the thick skin (which is how i prefer it). The meatballs looked like they probably came from a bag, but they were also good. I felt it just fell short of a four star rating, but depending on the time you go and if you are just in for beers vs food, I would recommend it differently. Great beer selection here and we got one of each in 5 oz glasses. Many great tasting beers at $1.75 per glass. A fun way to taste everything they have to offer at the time, as the beer menu changes with what they have on tap.

Friendly service and good red beers. The bartender recommended the Honey Malt Lager and it was quite refreshing as were the other beers I tried (Red and Dunkel Lagers).

Back to Carlyles after the buyout. Beer was good, pizza was good, but our server could have done better. Off night? Who knows. Will go back again. Our favorite server was behind the bar.

Delicious pizza, great beer and wine. Outside patio, shuffleboard, darts, connect four. Great service.

We visited for the first time after a few years and it was great. Pizza, beer, and service is fantastic. We are excited to visit again!

A short swing by as out-of-towner following local business partners recommendation. Great choice of beers, great beer and a place to relax and or spend time with friends. Had a glass of Vanilla Cream Ale. Deep and thorough aroma, rich taste. Love it, and with very affordable price. Glad checked this one out.

This is one of the few places I drink beer at and go out of my way for if there's time. Carlyle is great for beer AND root beer. Unfortunately, they haven't opened their kitchen because the pizza was great. You can bring your own food and Capri was the other place to bring food from but sadly had a fire. It can be loud on Friday nights but what place isn't with great beer? Recommend Carlyle paired with Magpie food.
