Wonderful, quiet, great place to stay. Met wonderful people who come back year after year. Price was excellent. Had a kitchen with all you might need. Furnished nicely. Will come back next time in St. Pete's Beach!

This motel is not directly on the beach, but close enough to walk. The owners are very nice. We were able to check in early. The room was very clean, a bit outdated, but clean. The bed was comfortable. The cost was great compared to the outrageous prices other place are charging. We will be back!
This is my second stay here in the cottages. Another amazing stay! Clean, quiet, charming. Walking distance to Upham beach which was very convenient!. Betty is great- very kind. People are always friendly here and it provides the peace and quiet we were looking for, yet being a short distance from everything else. Food is just up the street in several directions and it feels safe overnight. Comfortable beds and linens. Provider shampoo, conditioner and soap. Towels replenished daily. Clean fridge and freezer. Love it here!
We love his motel. The room, pool, and court yard were clean. It is within walking distance to the beach, bars, restaurants, and shops. Betty was very nice and accommodating. Will definitely stay there again.
Had to book on short notice. Reception lady was nice on the phone and even nicer in person. Room was modest but comfortable and very clean. Public beach access is a short walk away, as are multiple bars and restaurants. The Italian Deli less than a block away had an awesome selection of pastries and breads and a nice breakfast/sandwich/pizza menu. Only drawback is limited parking, unable to accommodate friends who were booked at another hotel and wanted to visit.
This was my second stay at The Carlton House in St. Pete Beach and I will definitely come back. What an absolutely adorable place! Betty is an exceptional host! I want to thank her for the best customer service. My room was so comfortable and clean. It is convenient to all my favorite places and walking distance to the beach. I can’t wait to come back and I have told all my friends about this hidden charm.
Very, very charming. Ceiling fan! Bed a bit firm, but that's a personal preference. Super clean. Coffee with REAL half and half. Swoon. Trust me, go old school with this place and open your door with an actual key, not a card!

Love this place. We have rented unit 508 multiple years in a row and love the pool area and view of the bay. The beach is a small trek across the street but that's fine because there are crosswalks and the unit we stay in has a beach wagon for chairs
