Carl's Motel - Motel in Rosamond - 2529 Sierra Hwy, USA

Cost way to much for the quality received!! They certainly could hire a maid or somebody that knows how to clean with cleaning products because the room didn't look like it had been cleaned in a very long time nor did it smell like it either and it was very hot outside but the cooler didn't work no discount was given for the broken cooler or the dirty room.

The managers are very sweet, but cannot help you with important things - like the WiFi. No matter how many times we asked, and even called the internet provider ourselves, we could not get access. Also, the property has been sorely neglected by the owners - the plumbing is awful, the carpets are filthy and there has not been any upgrades to the electrical in at least 30 years. It is not a bad place to stop and rest for the night, but don’t stay any longer!

$48 a night tax included was a very reasonable price. Huge bed, extremely cool air conditioning, 42" flat screen television with DirectTV including LA Dodgers games on ch. 5...😆 Pizza Hut Delivery available and it was Clean with a HOT shower. I was very satisfied with my stay. My car broke down 2 miles away and got it towed to the mechanic, a good rest that was very much needed. Thank You very much.

In the last 6 weeks since my wife passed away I have stayed at seven different motels in a 75 Mi radius this is by far the best the cleanest the beds sleep like new the room is very comfortable and the price was really good

Needs to be inspected by Kern County dept of Health and the dept of building and safety...its a motel and people actually live there...at motel rates...No room service..they run out of toilet paper...linen is dengy old...towels stained...poor electrical outlets..old wiring...old plumbing....no covid cleaning..mattress pads dirty areclonever.changed

Great place to spend a few days. Very helpful staff, nice rooms and good service. The hot water was nice and HOT which was very amazing. I once stayed at a motel in Bangor, Maine which was almost 3 times the amount that Carls Motel charges and it SUCKED $%=* because the 'hot' water was more like luke warm and it's FREEZING up in New England! I highly suggest Carls. Very nice place overall.

This is a clean place with very nice people running the day-to-day business. They have been responsive and accommodating to my wife and me. I am giving 3 STARS. Sadly there is NO INTERNET ACCESS HERE AS ADVERTISED. IF YOU ARE WORKING WHILE TRAVELING, THIS PLACE HAS NO INTERNET. BE ADVISED. YOU CANNOT EVEN GET ON THE NETWORK BECAUSE IT HAS NOT WORKED FOR MONTHS AT LEAST.

This place is beyond awful. The comforters are at least 40 years old, are their carpets. If you're in the area for Laguna Seca do yourself a favor and stay somewhere in Mohave or Lancaster. It's a 15 minute difference in drive time to the track and you'll find much better quality hotels for the same price. This review would be too long if I wrote everything that was bad with this place.
