Carlos O'Brien's Mexican Restaurant North Phoenix is a good place to eat. The Atmosphere is very nice, clean, open, and many big screen T'V's to see the games. My server was Raquel she was very polite and helpful. Food came out hot and timely. She was attentive to get refills and check on my meal preparation. The food was very average for Mexican food. The rice was mushy. I had a combo plate I liked the tacos, and beans. The chips and salsa were very good. It wasn't horrible just not the place I would hurry back to.
After a long busy day in Sedona, our family of 8 was seated immediately on a busy Holiday Saturday. Our server, Diana, was so great!! She kept the chips and salsa for our large party constantly full, drink refills were timely, & every order came out correct. The portions were huge, the food nice and hot, the sopapillas sweet & yummy. She brought boxes for everyone & the bill was taken care of quickly. What more could you ask for!!! My hubby and I split the “little bit of everything “ & still took a big box home. Would definitely dine here again!!
My sister‘s favorite place to have Mexican food. She insisted we come when she was in town, and I’m awfully glad she did. The food was terrific. Their guacamole was delicious, fresh with the right touch of spice. The tacos were a real treat, with plenty of shredded beef. Prices are moderate to inexpensive, and the drinks were definitely not stingy ; three of us shared a pitcher of margaritas, and definitely felt the effects. This will be a go to for me, when I am over on the west side of town.

My wife and I stopped in for lunch for the first time at this restaurant. Chips with salsa and a hot sauce was good and a perfect crunch and spice level. The grande burrito and chimichanga were great. The lunch menu size is still huge, so expect to take half home for dinner or a meal the next day. House margaritas were blended and salted to perfection.
Food was very good. Believe the servers if they say something is spicy if you're spicy-adverse. Regular salsa is very good. The spicy salsa will tingle your scalp, but doesn't have much body. Suggest mixing some into the regular salsa to get the spicy level you want. Portions are good sized. I over ate and had rice leftover.
Great service. The food is delicious! I love their rice . Food coke out hot in a timely manner. Service is friendly they truly make u feel welcomed. If you are a salsa person they have good salsa with a spice chilli as well. Food taste home made. Thank you
