We went there for a birthday dinner and Carlos & Pepe’s did not disappoint! Every single individual that tended to us gave exceptional service with smiles on their face. We give special attention to Steven, who we believe may be management and our server Joshua. Joshua had amazing energy, it felt like we’ve known him forever. Food was served in timely manner, tasted absolutely delicious and authentic Mexican and our table was cleared up after each serving by the busboys. They were also so kind and welcoming. The music and ambiance were also 10/10. We already made reservations for tomorrow night because we’re in love all over again with Carlos & Pepe’s! Thank you Steven, Joshua & Team for a great time! We look forward to see you again with the Mariachi band this time 💃🏼

We had a wonderful time discovering this recently reopened spot. We were just cruising around and what a hidden gem. We enjoyed the great margaritas and the delicious fajitas. Highly recommend it. Their happy hour is from 3-7. Check it out you wont be disappointed

We chose to pop over for post-dinner cocktails and chips/salsa. We did not eat through the menu so this review is mostly based on service: Excellent front patio bartop service by a gal who could not have been more fun, helpful and knowledgeable. She didn't hover yet always took care of us and remained available to us. Wish I could remember her name (blond braids). Cocktails were enjoyable, as was the signature hot sauce from California. Chips and guac were good and enjoyable. Great place to pop in for Cocktails and small bites. Menu offering looked promising. Definitely going back for cheap and cheerful vibe.

We came back to Carlos & Pepe’s tonight for the 40th anniversary of our first date here… in 1983! We met the amazing new owners and were treated to such a wonderful dining experience! The food was delicious (Pepe’s Burro was exactly as I remembered it!) and they even made an old favorite for us that is no longer on the menu. The mariachi band, the margaritas, the incredible atmosphere… it was a perfect night! We will definitely be back!!! Thank you! ♥️

After being a long time customer at Carlos and Pepe's we took a break for several years. After we recently heard that they were under new ownership, we decided to give them another shot. I am pleased to say their tuna dip is still as fabulous as ever. I've tried to duplicate it many times at home, but never came close to their perfect recipe. Their salsa was incredibly fresh as well. My husband had the beef chimichanga, it was packed with shredded beef and cheese. The sauces came on the side, which I thought was a good idea so the burrito doesn't get soggy. I had the Baja fish tacos that came stuffed with delicious mahi and topped with a mango salsa. I am very picky about my fish tacos and these were definitely great. Each dish came with a side of Mexican rice and refried beans. Food portions were generous and the staff was very welcoming. As we were leaving, I spotted their private room in the back and was impressed. I would definitely consider them for my next holiday party for work. All in all, I will definitely place this back in our restaurant rotation again. Glad to see that they're improved!

It was Christmas Eve and we had the pleasure of dining at Carlos & Pepe’s, and I must say, the experience was made exceptional by our server, Josh. From the moment we stepped in, Josh greeted us with a warm and welcoming smile that set the tone for the evening. The restaurant itself boasts a cozy and vibrant atmosphere, perfect for both intimate dinners and group gatherings. As we settled into our seats, Josh was quick to provide menu recommendations, demonstrating his extensive knowledge of the dishes and drinks. His suggestions were spot on, and we were particularly impressed with the special house margaritas and the chef’s special enchiladas. What stood out the most, however, was Josh’s attentive and personable service. He had an uncanny ability to be present whenever we needed, without being overbearing. His attention to detail was remarkable – from ensuring our drinks were always refilled to adjusting the ambient lighting at our table for a more comfortable experience. Furthermore, Josh’s passion for customer service shone through in every interaction. He shared interesting tidbits about the restaurant’s history and even offered tips on the best dishes to try based on our preferences. It’s rare to find someone who not only performs their job well but does so with such enthusiasm and genuine care for the customers. The food itself was delicious, a perfect blend of traditional flavors and modern twists. But it was Josh’s exceptional service that elevated our dining experience to a whole new level. He is a true asset to Carlos & Pepe’s, embodying the epitome of hospitality. If you find yourself at Carlos & Pepe’s, do ask for Josh. You’re guaranteed not just a meal, but a dining experience that you’ll remember fondly. Kudos to the team, and a special thank you to Josh for making our evening so memorable!

The best renovation I’ve ever seen at a restaurant! What an improvement. NEW menu. Great drinks. Beautiful atmosphere and the best Latin music in town. I work directly upstairs from this restaurant, and I’m so happy to see it flourish! Richard is a wonderful server!

I had the pleasure of visiting this restaurant with a group of friends and we had such a wonderful time! We started with a round of watermelon basil margaritas (yum) which quickly turned into another round. For appetizers we tried the Tuna Dip, Guacamole Dip and the Nacho Mama Nachos. I can’t stress this enough when I say that the nachos are the most emotionally satisfying combination of flavors. Whew! Also, if you’re a tuna fan like myself, the dip is an absolute must! For dinner we tried the poblano chicken and variations of their enchiladas (beef, chicken and carnitas.) The ground beef enchiladas with brown sauce, yellow rice and refied beans were my personal favorite! The dishes were seasoned to perfection! For dessert we tried their churros and tres leches cake which was the perfect ending to our dinner. We left dinner already planning our next visit! Can’t wait to check out their happy hour and live mariachi band. A very special thank you to our waiters, Alyssa and Josh as well as Edgar and Paula who were super attentive and a joy to interact with! Check this place out stat!
