Carlisle Garden Suites - Bed & breakfast in Ashland - 637 E Main St, USA

Wonderful place to stay! Each room is unique so I can't speak to all of them, but ours was perfect for the 3 of us and our dog. We all enjoyed the jacuzzi tub and the deck was a nice touch. My son loved the gas fireplace. Nice to have a little kitchenette too. The location is awesome, one block from Safeway and an easy walk to prime Ashland shops. They were also very understanding about covid uncertainty, reaching out to check if we needed to cancel and volunteering it would be without penalty. Locally and woman operated, good to support.

It has charm for sure, but there were some issues that made it less desirable. We were the only tenants there except a very hungry cat who lives there but had no water or food. There was no one on staff in the event we needed something. There was only 1 coffee cup in our room and a hot water on demand system that took a LONG time to heat up. The hot water in the tub was reversed so if you wanted hot, you needed to turn it to cold. The "club house" is a room with a dirty couch and filthy fridge with dirty dishes in the sink. There was half and half there for our coffee and some random old containers of food and hard boiled eggs. It looked like it's never been cleaned. I don't feel it was worth the money spent. It's a shame, because it seems like a great expense was put into upgrades. I wouldn't recommend this place.

Free Wi-Fi very clean facility unfortunately we picked a room close to the road which was kind of loud until the evening. It was a cute place that was tidy and comfortable with a great kitchen to cook a little bit when you want to stay in for the night. Price was very low, location excellent. The bathroom and bathtub was phenomenal. The bed and the pillows were pretty hard to beat. Will stay here again

The proprietor is friendly and dedicated to your comfort. The rooms are spacious and have great little kitchenettes, as well as spa bathtubs and great water pressure. The location is close to downtown and the Coop is less than a mile away. We would definitely return and refer our friends.

The location was an easy walk to town and theaters, however we were disappointed in our stay. The main reason I booked the room was due to the jetted tub in our room (I have a back injury and need this, especially while traveling and walking all day). When I filled the tub, it took about 45 minutes (extremely low water pressure). When I went to get in it, there were multiple hairs and other debris floating in the water. This was very frustrating. Since nobody is onsite, I called the number of the manager and was told to call back in an hour. I did and kept getting a voicemail. I finally spoke with Tamara, the manager, hours later and she was apologetic, saying that the hair and dirt gets trapped in the jets, and that she’d have the owners call me back regarding a discount on the room that I was requesting. I have not heard back, even after leaving them another message. We also were not given enough towels for all 3 guests, and I saw some older ladies have trouble getting the code to their room since there wasn’t anyone onsite. You have to have a cellphone to stay here and hope that they answer the phone, which they don’t always. I cannot recommend this place.

The price point on this location felt like a steal. It’s within walking distance to everything we came here for, and there’s a grocery store nearby. We also saved a lot of money cooking from the little kitchenette. The owners were super friendly, and the manager, Tamara, responded to our every need. There’s even a sweet cat that hangs out in the garden. As a matter of fact, I’ve already booked another stay here in the spring. Would definitely recommend!

This place is beautiful and I would have given it a 5 star but communication was an issue and thankfully we were not checking in right at 3 as in the email was stated that we could. Was told we would receive a text with all the information we needed to get in. I called at close to 4:00 to ask for the information. The Lady was nice just feel like if you say your going to do something then please follow through. The room was within walking distance and the bed was super comfy.

I was evicted for having a male guest for 3 days. I got evicted w/24hrs. Notice. I am disabled and overcoming a brain injury due to being attacked and assaulted in June. Jossie Ahsan at Community works made this happen. Linda did not even speak to me. Terrible business.
