Quick stop at Caribou Coffee on University Ave. in West Des Moines. Walked inside as there were 5 cars at the drive up. Got my order taken immediately, and walked out within 3-4 min with fresh medium"House" coffee. 5 stars for promptness 5 stars for cleanliness 5 stars for the coffee Here's a pic of me enjoying the brew with a GREAT road song!
Excellent service. I'm a future loyal customer. I ordered a Chai Tea Latte and then got so engrossed in my conversation that I forgot to get it... fast forward about 35 minutes... I finally remember and ask them if they can warm it up. "No, let me just remake it for you!"

Decent location, quite a bit of seating and enough space where you're not too close to anyone. Though I have to say, the machines are ungodly loud when being used. Not sure if it's just bad acoustics or what. It sounds like a Dementor sucking the souls of a group of feral cats (feral cats would put up a fight which would make them louder), all at the same time. Overall though, nice coffee house.

I only use Caribou out of convenience and timing. I anticipate a lesser quality beverage. This location on this day proved me wrong. They provided a nice afternoon coffee on this trip. The physical store space was a bit unkempt with water on the floor in the ordering area. The staff was pleasant and worked quickly. This location is worth recalling when I'm in that area.
