I read hundreds of reviews on this resort before I booked. I'm so happy we decided to book at the Caribe. We stayed in unit B507 with 12 people. We had a bay view which was fun watching all the boats and people from the balcony. I don't think there is a bad view at this place. The staff was nice but the best part was I felt like they were invisible. If you need them they are there but otherwise they leave you alone. I read lots of reviews about the rowdy pools and people. We actually liked that there are no life guards to harass you. The pool is open until 11pm everyday. We ate dinner and swam every evening. We used the marina and ate at the Cobalt, both were a pleasure to work with. We only left the resort for groceries and to go to Flora-Bama. Also don't buy the parking pass until you get your first 2 passes with your room.
Biggest plus is there is a lot to do at the hotel inside and out. The beach had clean squeaky sand (3min shuttle to beach, 10 walk). Some highway noise. No ocean sounds except pool waterfalls and ambient music, nice resort.
We loved our time and our condo. The marina was on one side the ocean on the other, making spectacular views. Would definitely love to go back
This could easily be a 5 star rating with some effort from the Caribe staff. They do well keeping the resort clean. Views are great. The pools are cool. Wait until all the maintenance is done before you come. We missed out on the lazy river because they were working on it. Our particular condo was not cleaned well and lacked basic things like pots and pans. The A/C worked but it wouldn’t keep our condo cool. It would get up to 85 during the day. Update: more renovations are being done, like pulling up carpet, multiple bathrooms are being closed for maintenance. I would think they could’ve gotten a lot of that done in the off season. And my mom got stuck in an elevator. There are no lifeguards on duty and some parents let kids do whatever. I’ve seen multiple kids get hurt because no one is watching them. It’s a safety thing.
We stayed in unit 802B, I cannot explain the amazing view, it was breathtaking. We had a panoramic view of the Bay with all the boats and island, and the ocean. The wrap around balcony was massive with plenty of chairs and seating for our family to be out there together. The rooms were perfect sizes, the laundry room was equipped with outdoor supplies, canopy, floats, kitchen had everything you need, the kids room was perfect, master suite was huge, comfy couches for all of us to be in the living room together to take in the views, comfy beds, clean unit, extra pillows and blankets, very quiet, so much storage and space for a family. We never left the resort except to eat or shop. Every pool on the resort had slides, baby pools, something for all ages to be together in the same spot instead of separating, lazy river was awesome, there is a bar where you can get food as well, bathrooms, indoor pools, so much to do onsite . Our unit was right by the elevator and our parking spot was right off the elevator so easy access, no waiting for elevators. All the staff we met was super friendly and helpful. The place we rented from Beachball properties was very accessible and were amazing to work with . We will definitely be back to this unit. The walk to the beach was literally 2 minutes and even though there was red flags the whole week we were there, it was still calm on the bay side beach, and you still get to walk on the ocean side. Cobalt restaurant is amazing and the boat dock is right there if you want to rent or park your boat.
Overall it was a good experience! I felt a life guard was needed at pools, or someone to regulate the slides. It felt a bit chaotic at times. With that being said it was also a lot of fun! Slides for the kids, 3 levels of pools, a boat dock with convenient boat rentals just up the road. Our condo was great, my inlaws had air issues. They were quick to come and repair. This is a good spot for families 👍
I would definitely stay here again! We came the week of Thanksgiving this year (2023) and had a blast! It was perfect for those that wanted to just relax and chill, but also for the ones that wanted to go out places as well. My husband and sons loved the putt putt golf course and the heated pools, as well as the saunas and arcade. We were able to watch dolphins from our balcony, which was just an added bonus. I will definitely be recommending this place to all of my friends and family members who need a place to stay! They also provide a shuttle to the beach across the road so that you do not have to pay $10 to park each day that you want to go over there. 10/10 would recommend!
Our third stay. Property is becoming dated. Our condo in C building was just okay (we've stayed in D the previous 2 visits). My biggest complaint about Bld C - Intercostal Side was lots of noise from the pool and loud people partying at the grills down below. We could hear them late into the night and we were on the 11th floor. Lazy River was closed due to extended remodeling but all other pools were open. I think our next visit we'll stay beach front.

We and one other couple booked a deep drop charter targeting grouper with Captain Josh and Corey. Unfortunately, the grouper was not interested in what we had to offer that day. Captain Josh eventually said that we were going to change our tactics an
We took a wonderful stroll on the trail on a late September morning. Only some of the trail has shading, so afternoon walks on hot days can be a challenge. No mosquitoes to speak of. The trail was a mix of wooden walkways, asphalt, and a little bit o
What a great park! The boys and I went to find a playground and scout out fishing spots. This place has both, as well as two sets of bathrooms to use and multiple picnic shelters. The playground area is fenced in, and the equipment is relatively new.
Awesome service and food. Drinks were great. Was a little cold when we were here(Jan). So they could use maybe 1 indoor section as its all outside seating. Atleast they had propane heat lamps. Lindsey at the bar was awesome! Cool spot.
We explored the Wharf both during the day and at night. There is plenty to do between exploring all the shops, riding the ferris wheel, dolphin boat tours, amphitheater, bars and restaurants, and so much more. There is plenty of free parking outside
Breathtakingly BEAUTIFUL, panoramic views. The rooms are delightfully furnished and comfortable. All the necessary/ expected amenities are readily available. The staff is refreshingly charming and repeatedly went above and beyond to meet our needs.
We had a wonderful time at the Palm Beach Resort in Orange Beach. It was beautiful & pleasant. All the condos have a view of the Gulf. Bring your own blanket since our room did not have any extras. I highly recommend staying here.
What a great place for breakfast! From Shrimp and cheese grits, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, and a piece of ham. Food was hot and delicious. Must try if your in Orange Beach!! Service was great from waitress as well!
