I've stayed here many times over the years. It's a solid five-star for Hollywood Beach Motels. Location! Pool! Remodeled rooms! Great staff! Parking available! A park steps away, the beach steps away, and eateries steps away. I've noticed that the negative reviews are mostly over two years old and from people who appeared to be breaking policies of the establishment. This establishment has two facilities. With close to the same name. One has pool access. Know which one you are reserving. I like both. Remember, It's a motel. That practically puts you on the beach. Hotels in walking distance range from $350 to $600 per night. A great disparity in cost.

Location great. Room was clean, bed was comfortable. Bathroom fine. Kitchen needs upgrade, needs new stove and pans with lids that fit more utensils. Need new dressers. Dresser drawers kept coming open. Weather was crap so we had to cook in there. The office is right by the Tiki Bar and that is not right there. Very CONFUSING to find office to get keys, late check in. Tiki bar was great and inexpensive drinks. Pool was warm. Not sure I’d stay there again but if the weather would have been better, we wouldn’t have had to stay in room so much.

I have been coming to hollywood beach for over 20 years , by far , this is the best place we have stayed . Clean, kitchenette, bath! Location is fab! Lovely little pool! Staff was great , we tipped our room attendant, I have never done that before, the room was such a great deal , I'm still surprised. Front desk manager was helpful and on top of things. Super fun.

We stayed for 5 nights with 4 people. 2 queen in main area and roomy bedroom with 1 king. 1 and 1/2 bathrooms!! Let's get the cons over first. The floor wasn't very clean and we didn't have a dust pan and the broom didn't work great. Bathrooms were a little on the small side. The outdoor area needs some new pool chairs, and a good power washing. Some times you heard loud cars peeling out or racing in the parking lot across the street. I am being honest and It didn't really bother me on the noise level, I was concerned they would crash into my rental car. Now time for the PROS! Great location. Loved the pool!! Asked for first floor and got it!!! Super nice staff!! Area felt very safe. Liked the outside shower and bathroom by the pool. They had an area next to the washer and dryer with a lot of sand toys, random beach chairs and umbrellas you can grab for the beach!! I would recommend staying here. It isn't high end but it was a great value and I liked it!!!!

This place was disgusting. When i first got there, i opened the fridge and there were ants everywhere. Then, i looked at the beds. There were yellow stains on my sheets and they smelled horrible. The floors were not cleaned and my feet were black after walking on it for 2 minutes. The pool stunk of bleach and urine, not to mention the sand residue at the bottom of the pool. If all of that wasn't enough, the rooftop area had piles of vomit. My silverware in the kitchen drawer was dirty. On the stove provided, there was heaps of crusted on black residue. Then we move on to the staff, oh the staff. They yelled at my 2 toddlers for crying after they tripped on the uneven tiles by the pool, and they fined me $500 because they wouldn't stop crying. My children were hurt, of course they were going to cry. I brought up my worries regarding the state of my room to one of the staff members and they said there was nothing wrong with the room. I showed them the very apparent problems and they continued to tell me that there was nothing wrong with it. I tried to enjoy this terrible environment, but the icing on top of the cake was when a fat deranged old man harassed me and my children in the parking lot from his tall black truck, he shouted obscenities such as, "hey yo ma, you got a fat a**, and your children too". I was revolted at how this man was speaking to me and my children. Overall, I was in shock at the lack of security, how open it was to the public, how terrible the staff was, and how disgusting the environment was. I am disappointed that a place of this caliber is rated so high on google. Do better. If not for me, then for my children.

Room is small, but hey you aren’t here for the room itself. Excellent location. Tiki bar is great. Beach is clean and sandy. Bed comfortable. Water pressure is way too low. Property is clean, area is noisy on weekends. Avoid the Hollywood brewery

This hotel was extremely rude to me and the people staying with me. They are extremely strict on everything. Management was very rude to adults and kids. They would not provide us with extra towels though it is on the beach AND has a pool. The room was very dirty, there were stains on the bed, and floors were sticky when we checked in. The fire alarm was broken and would not stop beeping. There were so many rules and regulations and they constantly threatened to fine us. Walls were extremely thin but they very strict on noise even though other guests did not complain. Very overpriced for an outdated, dirty, and stingy place with very rude workers.

We Booked 2 rooms for 2 nights! Unfortunately, we will never be back and I will tell everyone I know that they should STEER very clear of this place. The floors are disgusting and the rooms smell. Their "ovens " are so outdated the only one of the burners worked. There are no numbers on the dials so you have no idea if the oven is at 200 degrees of 400. fire detector started beeping at night while sleep and wouldn't stop. The futon is about as comfortable as sitting on knives. They are so cheaply made. Don't look behind the fridge or oven, you will see roaches. There are SOOOO many rules and regulations that you would be better off staying somewhere else. Because if you break even one of them they will fine you. NO GUESTS, POOL CLOSES AT 8. No smoking on the deck, but you also can't smoke in your room.$21.50 a night for parking when they have plenty of spaces.$10 if you lose a key ( the credit card like ones that probably cost $.50). They will only supply one. I don't trust these people so therefore I will never recommend them. The front desk is extremely rude. Told my friend who was also staying in the hotel to not give her attitude when my friend was just asking her a question. Overpriced and definitely not worth even the thought! To top it off it is next to the public squash/racketball courts. You hear their music blaring ALL day long and the pounding of the balls constantly. It is also a very sketchy area. I caught one person attempting to jump over the gate to get into a guests room. there are so many homeless, drug addicted people in that area. you would be better off in Fort Lauderdale than in HOLLYHOOD! Dangerous area!! Also the towels they supply are the size of wash cloths. If you dare to come here bring your own. Also, if you accidentally leave something when checking out, consider it gone. Not an honest business, nasty people.
