We've come to Wildwood every year since I was a baby and this place is amazing! The atmosphere makes you feel like you're in a 60s summer romance movie- the music, the colorful lights, the decor... the pool is a good size for the amount of people the hotel holds. They always grill hot dogs on Wednesdays and provide lemonade to drink as well and it always tastes absolutely amazing after a day at the beach. Location itself is super convenient to everything, especially the beach and the bike rental place we always rent from, the boardwalk, etc. The people who run the place are super friendly and nice as well. I will always, always come back here :) see you next year!!! Thank you!
This motel was the perfect find for our group. We stayed for Jeep Invasion. The location is perfect being a few short blocks away from the boardwalk. My vehicle is modified and I am slightly wider than most vehicles, the parking spaces along Buttercup were large enough to park not just my Jeep but multiple other Jeeps with similar modifications allowing room for us to exit our vehicles after parking. The individuals who work in the reception area are the sweetest, most kind humans in Wildwood! From the point of my calling to make the reservation to the time I left, they made sure I was taken care of. The rooms remind me of how Wildwood used to be growing up, they are standard rooms. One neat addition we loved was the music playing outside throughout the property could be turned on inside the room by turning a dial on the wall. It added a touch of fun DooWop Wildwood Nostalgia to our stay. We normally stay in another hotel but I feel the Caribbean Motel has become our new Wildwood home away from home. I have already told many about our experience and I hope to bring a larger group with us for events in the future.
The good: I was super excited to stay here. I loved how they preserved the 50s look. Loved the pool area, the ramp and the music they pumped in. The Bad: First off when we walked in we had a good experience. They where very nice and let us check in early. The problem was when I sent my husband down to get ice. He and another man had a little problem trying to figure out how to turn on the machine. He went to the office to ask for help and there was another woman (ill call her Karen) at the desk. She was extremely rude and asked if he is even staying there. BTW there was another gust nest to him with the same problem and she never asked the other man. She even made him prove it by asking his room number. My husband is Hispanic and the other man was white (not that it matters but I'm white also). It made him so uncomfortable it pretty much ruined the vibe of the whole weekend for him. He did not tell me at first because I guess he knows me and I would have went down. Thank you for making him feel like dirt! Also where did you think he got the ice bucket from? Other then that the pillows are pretty bad so bring your own if you go.
We had such a great time this week at Caribbean Motel. The pool is so exquisite! Our room was comfortable and has cool retro decor. The owners are very friendly and helpful. I love that they kept the DooWop design. We had fun climbing the spiral ramp up to their deck which has a retro lounge inside. I want to come back as soon as we can.
Very unique and historic motel that has kept its charm throughout the years. The location is perfect, just a block away from Wildwood city and the boardwalk but technically in the Crest. The front desk attendant Margie was super friendly upon check-in, the room was clean & comfortable, the pool was a perfect temperature, and the proximity to the beach can't be beat. The old school music and retro vibe makes the whole experience. Would highly recommend the Caribbean motel to anyone visiting the Jersey Shore
Convinient location and nice rooms close to the beach. Staff is friendly. Rooms are clean and slightly larger. Beds comfortable. The pool us great and so is the music being played. Parking spot is a little tight. There is a ramp to bring luggage to the second floor. Not too far from boardwalk.
If you like retro motels, this one is for you! Best looking authentic motel in Wildwood and perfectly situated. Very near the beach and the boardwalk. Rooms are old but clean (this is what your looking for, isn't ?) Nice retro and kitsch furnitures. Lovely pool, useful terrasse and tables to eat. Love this place.
Stayed here the week of July 4, 2023. Took my daughter and 2 grand kids ages 5 and 6. It was the perfect place. Close to the beach, safe pool, the other guest were super friendly. We would go to the beach in the morning, come back for a late lunch and use the pool until dinner time. Great public music being played. (50's and 60's). We stayed in room 108. Room was clean with 2 double beds and a little kitchen. Spoke to the owner of the hotel, extremely nice and guest oriented. Plan on coming back in 2024 for a week in July and then one in August. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Blue Marlin. We were greeted warmly by Marion upon check-in and recommended dining in the area. The Motel was immaculately clean from the common areas, rooms and pool. The staff was friendly and welcoming each da

Fantastic place, with fantastic people. There was a mixup with our reservation where we didn't show up in the system, but David was more than gracious on working with us. After getting that first night figured out (at his own expense), he made sure a
We stayed in Compass Motel during Labor Day and have to say it was one of our best vacations. Rooms, pool, amenities even stairs were very clean. Proximity to the beach was great. Most of all - the atmosphere was the best. People were really having a
This is seriously amazing food! The most flavorful dining experience we had in Wildwood the week of our vacation there. From the chips and queso dip for starters, to the main course of the pork tacos and steak burrito, to the dessert of a fried and
Really tasty vegan (non-dairy) ice cream! They only have one flavor (vanilla) but it had a great creamy texture. They have several toppings that are vegan although only sprinkles can go on top of a cone (as opposed to a cup). The attached picture is
This is a beautiful well- designed venue. The sound system was excellent . The jazz trio was very good but the crowd was sparse. Traditional jazz is not popular with vacationers in Wildwood Crest.
Visited today, for the first time, to enjoy breakfast and had an excellent experience. The food was fantastic including blueberry pancakes with fresh blueberry and perfectly made French toast. The staff were wonderful too. Our waitress was excell
The food was great and so was the view from the porch! Georgeâs Place offered a really nice lunch and breakfast menu. The waffle was fantastic and the small salads that we ordered with our quesadillas and pita were amazing! The staff were friend
Park looks new and well maintained, and close to the beach. Itâs got swings, a huge playground area, a covered spot for shade, and two full basketball courts. Also it has bathrooms which is great for if you have young kids.
I had a great breakfast with my boyfriend. The food was yummy and there were no issues at all. If you go make sure to bring cash, although they have an ATM the machine works but it can give you certain issues with your withdrawal. The service was gre
Exceptionally clean and wonderful service. We stayed for two nights and in between dishes were cleaned, sheets and beds were made, and towels were replenished without even us asking. Added bonus, we arrived early and our rooms were ready. Liz, who
