Carhenge - Tourist attraction in Alliance - 2151 Co Rd 59, USA

My 18 year old daughter and I were on the 2nd day of our eclipse road trip in 2017, and came upon the small sign for Carhenge as we headed out of Alliance. A few miles later, as we pulled in, my daughter rolled her eyes at me. Our expectations were obviously pretty low, but WOW, just WOW. We spent over 90 minutes taking pictures of the cool cars and other creative oddities and covered almost every square foot of the place. As we left, she looked at me and said "Wow, this place had a lot more to offer than I thought!". And this just set the tone for the rest of the trip as we continued up to the Badlands, Mt Rushmore, Devils Tower, and back to Casper for the eclipse. Don't forget to sign the Graffiti car before you leave!

Cool unique place to stop. I made my destination and was delighted to see they have a overhead picture you can get and it shows the models and year of each car. Pretty cool.

It was definitely worth the detour. Having been to Stonehenge less than a year ago this was fun. Great gift shop, no admission fee and more than happy to donate. Try to drive there from the south through the city or the north to avoid a long dirt road.

Absolutely amazing, put this on your list to go see. It's a masterpiece of enormous size. A must see if your in the area and should be a bucket list item of every vintage car enthusiast.

Carhenge was hilarious. If you can’t see Stonehenge, see this. It was in a lovely little town, and you could see signs for a Carhenge a mile away. They have a little shop there where you can put all your little pins on a poster/sign in it from where you’re from. We came from the Chicago area, and put one pin in. My parents came from Ireland originally, so we put pins there too. Their gift shop was cute, and very organized. They also have a bathroom! The monument itself has a lot of information scattered about, with neat things written on them. Birds make their home in the henge so it was interesting to see them, too! Definitely check it out if you’re in and around Alliance. Was worth the drive while we were passing through Nebraska. 10/10

This is a super neat tourist attraction that is a must see for anyone visiting the Nebraska Panhandle. It's made to resemble Britain's Stonehenge but is made entirely of real cars. It's free to visit and walk around. They have some metal art sculptures as well. Highly recommend!

Very interesting but too bad that they painted vehicles grey or yellow. Might be to preserve them but would have been better if cars were left as they were. Free admission is a great price. We did enjoy it.
