I’ve stayed in many hostels around the world and Caravan Hostel is definitely one of the best I’ve ever been to. It’s extremely clean — immaculate. They are thoughtful about providing basics like a towel, shampoo, body wash, toothbrushes and toothpaste, etc.
The location is fantastic; the neighborhood is walkable & charming, with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby.
The service was kind and helpful.
I thought the rooms were fairly priced, too.
10/10! Stay here!
Staff are very friendly and accommodating.
Complimentary toiletries, privacy curtains & pamphlets appreciated. Modern security systems, new facilities & attention to details apparent. Main Room 410 ok. But door squeaks & slams shut very loudly. Especially in the middle of the night.
I always shut it gently to not distuIrb other 17 roommates. But others don't.
Hope they add a hydraulic door closer, foam strips, felt pads or adjust the door in the future.
Adorable and affordable new “boutique” style hostel on a trendy strip in Adams Morgan area of DC. Very nicely appointed rooms and common areas done up with a modern twist on a Moroccan courtyard motif throughout the place, including the cozy outdoor backyard deck. Complimentary coffee and tea available 24/7 along with sundry items such as travel size shampoos, toothbrushes, lotions, etc. The entire staff was welcoming and everything was very clean and well maintained throughout my stay. Would definitely stay again and recommend it to anyone next time they are traveling in DC area.
Came for a convention. It's clean, nice, location a couple stops on the train to anywhere. Good price. I had a great time and staying here was perfect for my budget. Would for sure recommended
Good New Hostel. beds were comfortable, I'm 6"4 and I could lie straight with my feet touching the end. Lockers in the bedroom were big enough for my XL suitcase. Outdoor patio space on the roof was also a nice way to get some fresh air at the end of the day.
Only suggestion I would have is maybe installing some hooks or shelves in the shower areas outside 410 as there is no where to hang your clean clothes or towel so you have to balance it all on the shower rod and try to not get it wet.
Also I would watch out for the Homeless people up the street by the McDonald's if your going up there for breakfast or anything but that's not the hostels fault and they didn't come down the street towards the hostel area so its alright around there.
Great place! Great staff!! Great vibe!
Um lugar super agradável, organizado e que atende a gente com muito cuidado. O Caravan fica numa vizinhança super gostosa de passear, comer, fazer comprinhas diferentes. A equipe é super solícita e atenciosa. Recomendo demais.
I love coming to barre at the DuPont studio and canât recommend it highly enough. The classes are challenging (there are multiple formats) but inclusive of people of all ages and fitness levels. When I first started barre, I didnât anticipate big
