Carasaljo Inn - Motel in Lakewood - 450 Madison Ave, USA

I made a re-service 3 days in advance, they confirmed that the reservation was made in my name and when I arrived, very tired after a very long trip, they told me that they had not made any reservations and that they did not have any more rooms, incredible but true

Rooms are disgusting, no clean towels or linens offered everyday, guests/occupants has to clean their own rooms, the manager is very unprofessional he's extremely rude, don't know how to talk to people, call female guests or visitors to them or other people derogatory names out of assumptions or guilty by associations. The man underneath him is fair and professional. Do not recommend this place for any social class of people. Stayed a there second day had to buy a roach fogger. Had a colony of all sizes in my food less than 10minutes after opening and walking away from the food. Roaches too strong for it im a witness to that

The rooms are all renovated all new linens and beds floor is brand new. The couple that are running the Econo are very accommodating,friendly and kind they made my stay with my daughter a pleasure. The outside is very lit up at night. The price was good and they welcomed pets..I have nothing bad to say about our stay😀

The outside is beautiful very well decorated. However the bathroom and bedroom were the same size we had no blanket no wash cloth no towels the shower flooded the toilet didn't flush. The guest next door was rude upon arrival and was screaming until 4:30 am. To even obtain essentials to get into the shower we had to wait for management/the owner to arrive. The clerk however was a very sweet nice girl. I didn't get her name however she was helpful and the only good thing about that place.

Made a reservation over the phone. Got there at the agreed time, the room was not ready, and we were made to feel very uncomfortable. Someone who worked there asked if my partner was "a cop" because he looked familiar then gave him the stink eye (um.. wth? My partner is not a cop and this was super shady) The place was VERY dirty and disorganized. We left and stayed somewhere else.

I paid $450 for entire week (prices have gone up since) Staff was friendly, plenty of security cameras and staff watching at all hours, place was kept clean. I thought I was a nice touch with the flowers outdoors to make it cozy. Hopefully Christmas time they make it homey and festive. That would be WONDERFUL!!!

Made reservations, got there and was told no rooms were available - although the doors of some rooms were open and I saw they were vacant (made beds, no suitcases/signs they were taken). We did have to wait for someone to check in at the desk; the owner was back and forth in some rooms that people were in. The owner was zero help and just said they have been renovating the past 5 months and they do not know about any online reservations until check in. People were there but it seemed like they were very close to the owner, almost like they lived there or were family/friends. The main office looked like a junkyard (flipped over bikes, open condiment containers, empty and broken bakery shelves, clothes everywhere, trash everywhere, miscellaneous everything’s everywhere) and the outside of the inn was even worse. Trashy place. Online pictures are very deceiving. We were inconvenienced. But I’m glad we did not stay there.

Awful!! Zero star's!!! When I arrived there wasn't any one there, a crackhead who I think is a resident told me to come back in 15 minutes. Very shady, I didn't feel safe at all. Didn't even feel comfortable leaving my fishing rods in the parking lot due to the two cars with smashed windows.. definitely DO NOT STAY HERE. .
