Very nice experience!! Accommodating to physical disabilities and pets. The room were very neat and clean. Owner was very nice to me and my family. Need med a place with power since beryl came through and knocked out our power. Also felt very safe throughout the building.
I actually lucked up on this hotel during the power outage and no rooms available in my area in Katy. The owner not only accommodated my family of 6 and two fur babies but he worked with us to let us check in early. Owner is super humble and kind. They are renovating so things are being redone but I will def make this a go to stop when visiting Kemah. Prices are very good and may not be as fancy as more expensive places but customer service is top notch! Very quiet and we were able to rest and relax after being without power for over 5 days. I’m so glad I was able to book last two rooms here. Thanking God and thank you to owners here. Lovely stay🤍
You get what you pay for, usually but in this case you get more. These prices are the price of other hotels security deposit alone (they don't require a security deposit). The room was actually as nice or nicer when compared to my usual hotel, but 1/3 the price. They are in the middle of renovating so there was no cable or a refrigerator or lobby AC, understandably so. Rooms had great AC, which they had turned on for us ahead of time. As for the TV just go buy a $30 Amazon Fire Stick (still with that investment less than half the price of my usually) and you have TV.
Was able to reserve a room after 3 nights of sleeping outside due to Hurricane Beryl, and even though the TV service isn't working, our stay has been great and problem-free with everything going on at the moment. The new owners have been super easy to work with and very fair with pricing given the situation. We will be staying another night and look forward to another restful evening in the AC.
Ahoy, matey! Call me Captain & put it Inn my Suites! If you’re looking for a real, seedy, vagabond, Anthony Bourdain’s No Reservations, developing country type experience, this is the place for you! The lady at the front desk was very sweet and informed me that there would be no cable. No problem! Stayed on the third floor. No AC in the third floor corridor. No problem, the windows were wide open (no screens or anything!) providing a lovely, humid, breathy type breeze! To keep things interesting for us, they set up an obstacle course of an overturned mini fridge, a luggage cart, and a rolling office chair with no wheels in the middle of the hallway! No blinds or curtains in the room. No problem, they covered the windows with butcher paper! Peel a piece of the paper back to reveal a stunning view of random scrap, old box springs and trash in the surrounding courtyard. Enjoy a beautiful Seabrook sunset in a stolen Target shopping cart conveniently placed directly outside of the South exit. The room stayed cool, and I actually didn’t see any roaches despite all of the other reviews. All in all, great experience.
Good place to stay for cheap. They are doing renovations i believe if we could give them more chance and if they could fix it up some more it would be a chill place to stay. Things to fix. Air-conditioning, TV and bathroom faucet was running all day. I stayed at room 203. Try them out they are nice to talk to.
It was a great stay overall, unfortunately the wifi was down and they did not offer the free breakfast they claim online. Worth the price i paid for. There was some black mold in the shower and there was a tiny roach in there aswell.
If you need a pet friendly hotel that is nice and clean this is your place. Don't let the other hotels in kemah fool you as the other ones don't even allow service animals with id's. The manager and staff here at Captain are great, kind and very helpful. My dad has a boat at the marina so I'm here very often. I will only be staying at this hotel from now on in kemah. Great location and close to boardwalk as well. Thank you staff for the wonderful stay.
My family and I were in town for a family gathering and we stayed one night. I called the morning we were arriving to ask if we can check in earlier if possible. The front desk lady said the earliest they can get me in is at 2pm. Which was fine. We e

What a beautiful natural space with so many trails through the woods. Not a lot of space to park. Busy trails with a lot of people on bicycles. Bring water!
This is a wonderful park to walk and ride a bike from a clean bathroom and a place to have a picnic when your ride is done and some tennis courts and several picnic tables.
This is the place to be if youâre looking for a peaceful atmosphere. We came here from roughly 10-1 and it wasnât overcrowded. In part, I think it has something to do with the $10 entrance fee to access the park if you arenât a Seabrook residen
This was a wonderful place! The whole restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and the atmosphere was so welcoming and relaxing. The service food and drink were very reflective of the environment, with seasonal options and fun interactions. I was blow
We started out in our travel trailer but, needed more room so Dani Gillespie moved us into one of the cool little cabins! The transition was smooth & easy mostly because of the sincere caring & desire to make us comfortable hereâ¦all because of the
We reserved a wedding here. This was an awesome atmosphere. Everybody who helped us was amazing. This wedding went so well. Without the people here working, I donât think it wouldâve went so smoothly. Everybody was happy. Everybody was smiling, w
This public park is very clean and spacious, the cluster of big trees with space In between provides a super shade feature, perfect for picnics. The trails are nice to walk or run and the little info boards on the trail are nice a thing to read, over
