My husband likes this fast food seafood restaurant. I feel the tables are too close and crowded. I'm usually freezing. The food is okay. The workers were friendly and efficient. Wish the food tasted better. But it is fast food after all. Will we go again? Probably will.
Haven't eaten at a Capt D in many years. Stopped in ordered garlic shrimp and a piece of fish, slaw, and broccoli. Pretty good stuff for a fast food fish joint.
Captain D’s Please!
Murphy, NC is my quick get away go to. There is not an over-abundance of dining venues in Murphy, NC. I have been to almost every restaurant.
Sometimes you just want a decent grab and go fast food option. One day I chose Captain D’s in Murphy on US-46. A GREAT DECISION ! It wasn’t my first time trying them but on this occasion they took me back to old school Captain D’s. I had the lobster rolls, Seafood Trio, Giant Fish Sandwich and I rolled the dice 🎲 on some of their fried oysters.
I was thoroughly impressed. The lobster roll was what you would expect, the fish was fried to perfection, fries were on point, coleslaw was par, and the oysters were delicious and fried just right which is why there is no picture. It was clean and service was also good. Bravo. PLEASE KEEP THE OYSTERS ON THE MENU!
One of the best fast food experiences you'll have in this region in my opinion!
Staff has always been friendly and food always delicious!
Fresh food, great window service and good prices. Several Captain D's we've visited were terrible. This store in particular was excellent!
Two huge billboards State they have a full meal deal for $4.99. when you go inside the store and order it it comes out to way more than what the advertised price was. Will not go back to another Captain D's at all. False advertising. French fries were cold. Fish was tasty.
One of my favorite places to eat. Always good food and great service. See u soon!
The food was great. Always is, this time though we came in a little later. Their sign says "close at 10" we went in at 8:50. As we came in the employees locked the door behind us, which we disregarded. We ordered, got our food in a timely manner and had a good meal. However, when it was time to leave I went to open the door and it wouldn't open (because it was locked) I figured it would still open from the inside so we could leave, but no. If there was to be an emergency the employees would have to fumble the keys to unlock the door in that situation. Granted there wasn't one. In my frustration I asked snarkily "am I allowed to leave?" And they said they closed the dining room at 9. There was no sign up that stated this, or at least one that could be seen well or easily. I could still hear them as I left and they made fun of me because I was locked inside and required assistance to get out. The employees that were there did not do all of their duties either.
TL;DR food good, employees hateful behind your back.
Decided to try this place while passing through on our travels. Nice chill vibe. Has that "where the locals go" feel about it. We ordered the loaded baked potato and added bbq to it for an additional $4. It's totally worth it. It was delicious! Defin
It is actually the Cherokee and Early Settler Historical Museum. It was three dollars per adult to enter and was worth every cent and more. We spent the better part of a day exploring their two floors of awesome relics and still didn't see it all. I
This place is just adorable. The decor makes you feel right at home. The food makes you feel like you're in heaven. The biscuits for so fresh and soft, and I have no words for the apple butter. All of our food was wonderful!
Loved the way it was presentable. Rooms very clean & enjoyable. Manager very nice. Brought fruit, apples, bananas, muffins & breakfast bars to room. If you left your room to go somewhere, it was cleaned up & bedding changed. Will go again when going
Beautiful trails. The road going to the trails could be marked a little better, and more signage at the parking lot to let you know you're actually there. Rode all of them, but Roto trail would be my favorite. No restroom ð¥º
