Captain D's - Seafood restaurant in Ruston - 1324 N Vienna St, USA

*I ordered through doordash* After i years of living in Ruston I decided to give it a try. I was highly disappointed, the food is soggy and the oil tastes weird. This is a one time deal for me. I really wanted to like this. I took a picture mid meal when I decided it wasn't going to get better

I had to turn off my hearing aid because of the lyrics on one of rap songs. The food was so good and the young lady at the register was great! Food ready quickly and everything was very clean. Enjoyed the Christmas songs! Merry Christmas!

I went in to pick up a doordash order for a customer, it was a rather large order, and the management was extremely nice, they helped me bring the items to my car, offered me and my kid something to drink for free, it was an exceptionally pleasant experience and i truly appreciated their kindness and their help! The place was dirty! I'm very particular on cleanliness. Young lady was slouched over the counter. However she was pleasant. My thoughts were I'm sorry you have to be here if you don't want to. 😔 Food was good. Tables were dirty saw several employees in back so was fully staffed to clean the lobby area. We love our Captain D's please keep it clean and presentable for public use. Respectfully concerned patron. 😟

Horrendously long wait times. Waited about 20 minutes just to order and then another 5-10 at the window, all the while there are people standing inside just not doing anything. Decent fish but not worth the wait. Was also told they don't have anything called a trio fish platter when I'm staring at it on the menu?

Walked in and didn't get greeted at all, that's ok, but there was a girl at the counter straight up staring out into the distance. She only snapped out of it when someone went through the drive through. There were workers and what I assume was a manager were sitting in the lobby being a bit loud. That didn't last too long. But after we got our order,the drive though girl had sat down on the other side of us and got really irritated that someone came through. I went to the bathroom,it stank to high heck. The food was good.......

Lawd knows I must love my father. I pulled up at 8:27pm and I'm still waiting in the drive through. I'm almost to the window, there are 2 cars ahead of me. It's 9:07pm now. This is not knew and the one reason I never come here on my own desire. And it'll be the one reason I never come back. My father can waste an hour of his own time! Friends, don't do it. You know the food is going to be cold. I finally got my food at 9:16pm. Smh... I know there is a lesson in here somewhere.

I ordered the Number 1. The "Giant Fish Sandwich". This is what I got. I asked if this was the normal amount of fries that came with the meal. Her response to me was, "That's not enough for you?" I was told that this was the normal amount and that I couldn't have anymore. The fish on the sandwich also wasnt even hot, calling it warm would be a stretch. I definitely wont be eating here again.
