We absolutely LOVED this new find! Kinda of a "hole in the wall'... Surprisingly busy, both eat in and take out. But hands down, the BEST GUMBO I've ever eaten --including from Mr. B's in New Orleans. And oh! The shrimp Po boy was fabulous! Big crispy shrimp on a toasted french bread roll, wonderful sauce with just a bit of kick! My husband had shrimp fettuccine pasta and said there must have been a dozen medium shrimp in a wonderful sauce. And oh! Lovely, cooked-just-right sweet potato fries!! A truly excellent meal.
Better than ever! We had seafood combination boils, shrimp Alfredo...and they STILL have the BEST SWEET POTATO FRIES ever!! We love this place.
Gumbo soup had very little white rice. The gumbo had one big shrimp with the tail attached. The sausage had a few micro sizes in it. The chicken was two small pieces of dark meat. This was very plain with no flavor at all

I don’t recommend the crawfish. It’s kinda a waste of time. Either get the lobster or stick to the shrimps. The crawfish are a lot of work but very little meat and they will give you a lot of them if you order a combo.
Omg!!! So juicy. So good! I love it here. Great atmosphere. Excellent customer service. Reasonable. Nice quantity for your money. Bursting with flavor. I could go on and on. We come here quite often. Great bar drinks too. Clean. Hot. Fresh.
BE WARE OF ROACHES. I know we all love seafood and we try different places but try not to go here. The first time I went here I called my order in for pick up but because I had time I chose to eat inside when the manager told me ‘“ next time you call in a order you can’t dine in”. I said “okay” and kept eating. Today I tried their turkey necks and it was a roach crawling out the first bag. I called and told them and an employee stated that he will let his manager know. As if it was a Normal situation. They never offered my money or accommodate me in any way. I’m very disappointed.
This was our first time at Captain Crawfish Seafood and we were NOT disappointed. We will be back even though we live in College Station. The food was awesome. I just want to brag on our server, Teddy who was exemplary. That young man was one of the best if not the best server I have ever had the pleasure of meeting. He was everything - knowledgeable about the menu, offered great suggestions, was attentive, made sure we had water (refills), napkins, a bib and gloves for me and an awesome personality and huge smile. He is amazing and I wish him the best. I have already told my close friends about this place and Teddy.
My wife and I were in Houston for a weekend and ordered from here two nights in a row. Everything was delicious. The crab meat balls were my favorite.

The whole atmosphere was excellent, we had a wait but we were a family of 5. The bread and butter was complimentary and delicious. Our waitress was very helpful. The serving size is quite large and the catfish is extremely good!
