Capri Laguna - Resort hotel in Laguna Beach - 1441 S Coast Hwy, USA

This property is a gem along the Laguna Beach coast. You can walk along the water to the main downtown Laguna Beach in less than 10 minutes. Secluded area, not crowded, and a super relaxing experience. Sunsets are fantastic. Nick (the owner) and Bashir (Hotel Manager) are incredible hosts and have great passion for their boutique hotel. They love their guests and go out of their way to ensure you have a great vacation. If you want to stay at a brand new hotel that has NO PERSONALITY, there are other options. If you want to have a Greek Island experience in California this is the spot! If you like the boutique hotels in Mykonos, Santorini, or other Greek Islands, the hotel strives to provide that character.

I have stayed at Capri Laguna since 2004. I first began with my family and now my husband and I go to enjoy some romantic time at the beach. We absolutely love it here. It’s our home away from home. The management and front desk personnel are all so wonderful… Nick, Bachir and Morgan are always kind and go above and beyond to make sure we have a wonderful visit. They treat us like family. We love how convenient it is to all the restaurants and shops. The beach is directly down the stairwell so it’s very easy to visit while staying at Capri. |We will definitely be back !

Very quaint, clean and charming boutique hotel. The staff are all super friendly and everything is very clean. You can fall asleep to the waves crashing just below. The trolley stop is just outside and is very convenient. The breakfast is lovely. The heated pool is nice. The bath products are nice. The parking is tight but close by to the room which is nice. I called in to make the reservation and received a discount for doing so. The hotel to the south is under renovation, but our room was on the north side so it wasn't a problem for us. There are plenty of restaurants within walking distance. The beach is great. This was a lovely getaway for us.

This hotel is small but with big view. The location is priceless. We reserved a beach front room with balcony. We would eat our breakfast on balcony in morning when balcony was shaded and then sit out at night with wine and watch ocean. Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom is small but is clean and works. Service was excellent. We parked our car at hotel, they have overflow parking also, and never drove again. The restaurants, bars, shopping, coffee everything is walking distance. There is plenty of close places open to eat so there is now worry that hotel does not have a restaurant. We will be back

Nice room with a comfortable bed and good sofa. The kitchenette was a plus. Our room was quite at night but lots of road noise in the morning. Construction noise next door wasn’t a dealbreaker, but it was distracting. The staff was friendly and very helpful. It’s a great location! There are several decks with tables, chairs, umbrellas, loungers and fabulous views. Direct beach access with chairs and umbrellas available for guests right on the beach. We will definitely stay again.

I enjoyed a lovely overnight stay at the delightful Capri Laguna! I was greeted by the charming and very hospitable Nick and Bashir, who made sure my stay absolutely wonderful. The whitewashed beachfront room with the sound of the ocean through the open windows reminded me of my recent stay in Greece. It was a little slice of a charming European experience in Laguna Beach and I loved it!

I have stayed in the Laguna Beach area for over 30 years during the month of August to watch the Pageant of the Masters. Our usual hotel was under construction so we picked Laguna Capri and we were not disappointed. It is older but a very well kept facility with an amazing helpful and friendly staff. |The manager, and NIKOLAOS POLITIS is beyond wonderful. So incredibly kind and attentive. The location says it all. The beach, with umbrella and chairs provided, is just steps away. Speaking of steps, the facility sits on a cliff, overlooking the ocean. I have mobility issues but they have an exterior handicap chair device. Staff is extremely helpful in assisting me. They cheerfully carried our bags up and down the stairs. |Our room had a view of the ocean which we could hear during the night. Breakfast is simple, but adequate pool towels are provided, there is a large upper deck above the pool area perfect to sit and read or in just enjoy the ocean view below. Free on site parking is available but better yet the free summer trolley stop is just outside the door. It will take you downtown and even up the canyon to the Pageant or Sawdust Art Festival. No need to drive. |Disregard the old negative comments from 2 to 4 years ago. Give The Laguna Capri a chance and I think you will be very delighted With the staff and the facility and most of all location, location, location, location!!

Right on the beach with the sound of waves crashing. You could sit on the sand under one their umbrellas, go for a swim in the ocean, or sit and relax on one of their many decks. Every morning we would grab breakfast from the lobby and go to the highest deck, and enjoy the view. The staff, especially Nick Bachir Morgan, the manager, were always friendly and accommodating. They had wine and cheese in the lobby one night. They even gave us tickets to the Pageant of the Masters performance. We had a room on the lower level with a small beautiful garden just off the balcony. The foldout bed for our daughter was surprisingly comfortable. The bathroom and kitchenette had fairly recent updates. The water pressure was perfect, and there was always hot water. We loved sitting on the beach in the chairs they set out under their umbrellas, and then dive into the ocean when we were hot.
