Stopped in solely for the breaded pork tenderloin. It's a good cut of meat! No factory fritter stuff there. It's a nice pork loin, butterflied, tenderized, breaded and fried. About as simple (and delicious) as you can get! $9 out the door with chips and a cup of water. Bartender was sweet and friendly. Service was quick. Looks like a great local joint!

This is an old place, with a lot of history and has never been updated. It will take you back in time and the average customer is definitely on social security! But the food is all made there and it really was excellent. Prices are low and the service is pretty good. I will go back.

Great little spot. Small, but inviting. They were very busy, so service was a little slow, and our server forgot a couple of items, but we were not in a hurry, and we knew she was super busy. We both had cheeseburgers, and they were amazing! We would definitely stop in again when in the area! If this review has helped, give it a thumbs up!

1st visit. Great food, service. Place was packed out! I had the Special that day Phili burger and Susan had the fish sandwich. Both very tasty!

The food was once really good until the previous owners retired and sold the restaurant. Once new management took over, they changed a number of menu items and a few suppliers. As such, the quality of the food took a nosedive due to the changes. The staff are still good, and the bartender is very personable and entertaining.

We had a great experience from the time we entered the door. We were seated immediately (5 people) drinks orders were immediately taken, then served. Appetizers and main courses were followed in a timely fashion and the food was delicious! The whole dinner was wonderful.

Food was great! Awesome eating somewhere that’s been open since 1945. We had white chicken chilli for an app, a smoked ham sandwhich and a chop steak burger. Topped it off with one of their ginormous slices of cheesecake! Nice little place to go in Elkhart County.

Long time local favorite, casual atmosphere, comfort food. There is a bar side with seating, and a family dining room. Ownership changed in 2023, another local owner, original owners retired - small changes, same great place. Great neighborhood restaurant and local hangout.
