It's an old house very nice place clean, quiet, Vinny is very pleasant a good hoast, I'll stay here again
An affordable, clean place with a hospitable owner. Old, large house. Has certain charm to it. Smells of smoke, but not a big deal. It's better than the overuse of smelly cleaning products. Bed mattress a bit squeaky and only full, but still comfortable.
There were bedbugs and they were visible! Found two running across the sheet, so gross. The price for the tiny closet of a room was exorbitant! They charged an insane amount for a room that had a twin size mattress and a night table and no space to even walk around the room. Theres no private bathrooms in any of the rooms. The shower and toilet are shared between god knows how many guests. Also it's obviously more of a boarding or halfway house than a motel. The other guests said they had been living there for years!! And on my way to the restroom I bumped into a man (more than once) wearing just a tiny towel that showed much more than I wished to see. Clearly he considered the "motel" his home. Everything is old, dirty, and stinks like cigarettes. The owner and house manager were rude and unpleasant and clearly thought because I was a woman they could bully me and make up lies about check out rules. When faced with my husband their entire demeanor changed. Horrible experience and horrible staff (if you can even call 2 old guys who provide no services "staff"). Would not recommend especially for women traveling alone.
Great place for a good price. I got a quiet room at Cappuccio's and had access to a shared bath down the hall. No troubles were had, and a full night's sleep were gained.
The manager Vinnie was a wonderful man. The building was built in 1902 he told me. The few tenants were met were nice people. We just needed a room, so for $80 what could you expect..... It was a small room. Maybe 10’ X 10’. Room was clean. Fresh sheets and a kickin AC in the window and a small fridge with water. There is a TV but only had a few channels. Maybe 5! And it would cut in and out like satellite tv during a storm. It also has a shared bathroom on the 2nd floor. It was clean. Other than the inconvenience of leaving your room to go use the bathroom, there wasn’t an issue. The building did have a smell of age and of old people. No offense. But for the price, you can’t beat it! If you just need a place to crash for a night then this place will do the trick. It’s on a quiet street with a small back yard within walking distance of the beach.
This place is over ran with bed bugs and mice...... stairs going to 2nd floor are a hazard...... Landlord looks kind of grubby... Very expensive in one of the pictures it shows them sitting down at the table eating at a table that picture was staged if you want food you have to go out and eat
I made the mistake of moving in that place 6 years ago I stayed 3 weeks it cost me $1,50 1500 it was the worst place ever the service was bad the place was 30 and old the beds creaked they look like the mattresses was from the 1930s the rooms look like guys something out of the 40s it was terrible I got out of there as soon as I found another place go to that your own recording they ripped me off
Family friendly, safe, clean rooms, inexpensive & extremely close to the beach. Made our stay hassle free. The gentleman that takes care of the place was extremely nice, helpful, and attentive. Can't go wrong for the price.
Very nice beach. Clean and peaceful and not crowded at all. Sand and sea are close to the parking lot. Fyi it is paid parking with $2 for 1 hour BUT the machine does not accept credit card. Only coins and maybe $1 bills. Keep in mind. All else is fi
Negative comments here I donât believe . Being a customer for 12 years the food is always excellent always hot on arrival. Owners super friendly and I had never complained about anything since everything is outstanding. I have tried others before H
